pretty sure that delightful poem is exactly what we need to help transition our team to smashmouth SEC style football!

Hey, y'all are 5-0 right now. Looks to me like you're doing something right. I have a feeling that y'all just may be 6-0 after this weekend. UGA took some heavy casualties last weekend.

Ok, this is coming from a long time designer. I'm a creative director so take this or don't but here is my honest opinion. Not to be mean but direct!

1. Never use bevel again or any other layer option or filter in photoshop again until you know what you are doing. The reason I say that is because people get crazy with then. They are way over used and usually makes the piece look cheap and cheesy. This is why people are saying 1999.

2. NEVER STRETCH TYPE! EVER!!! Rounded type is fine but not much. Stretch is a no no.

3. Dial back on using the glows and other layer options. A little of that goes a long way. See 1 above.

Not at all trying to be an arse. If you are going into design, good luck and pick a good school. If you are just playing around, like others said, check out some websites and start learning design yourself.

Much thanks and appreciation for your candor. Pretty much, this is a one trick pony for the SEC logos. For the most part I stick with actual photos, so these "touch-ups" and such for sketches are play time and having fun with the filters. And no, I don't take it as mean. When you get into subjective media like visual arts and music you have to have thick skin and be willing to get punched in the teeth a few times.

By the way, good eye on catching the type stretch on the Tennessee logo. Your eyes are like my ears when it comes to music. Wish I had that vision.

Mainly, this is just having fun and trying to represent each school well.

Cool man. It's definitely fun to play with. And yes, you do have to have thick skin in this industry haha. I have had my shite run through before when I was in school. Professors don't give a shite about feelings!

Good work though man keep it up!

Hey now. . . To be fair, that houndstooth in the Bammer logo is 100% '70s!

I don't hate it, but the Gator one has too much green, and too little orange.

Awesome job - ignore the haters....I notice most of them have trouble with proper English - much less know how to create something beyond adding an Emoticon to their posts. Again, great job and thanks for sharing !

I have that one on a white background as well. It really looks clean. I'll post it later with a few re-do's of some pretty bad ones that were in dire need of correcting.

(Sorry to the Bammers, it's gonna take a while to get theirs right, but I have an idea that'll probably get me disinherited by me LSU brethren.)
