You are severely underestimating the public relations nightmare LSU would catch from Birmingham, who has already asked Saban not to hire Freeze, and the frigging liberals on campus and in the administration would go absolutely ape shite. On what planet is Freeze worth all of this?

And you are underestimating the desire for SEC Programs to win. The only reason Saban didn't hire him is because he didn't need to. If he thought he would be the difference, he would have told the SEC Office to
. Freeze had two interviews with AU last year. The only real reason he wasn't hired was because of those who wanted Steele refused to agree. That is why the President decided to let Greene find the coach. Freeze had a lot of support in Auburn, but the timing was wrong. I do not think LSU would make that mistake.

What I find funny, is it we "cancelled" or rebuked everyone that's banged a hooker, we'd have to do it to 90+% of veterans they've ever left the country.

Distraction toward the goal of winning football games ? What do you think those distractions were used for ? Freeze didn't hire them for himself. Hell you can't whore a program out anymore than what NIL is doing today.

The rumors that Freeze might have been over the line while coaching high school girls ended my interest. I can't rationalize away even the possibility of a pedophile being the head coach

Freeze has already proven himself in the SECW, something OU/UT hasn't done. He would be the new guys worst nightmare at LSU.

Everyone seems to be missing the most obvious clue here. The LSU AD only goes on big-name safari hunts. Mulkey, Jimbo, are the kind of big names he wants to trap.
So look for Jimbo and Franklin and guys like Kiffin getting a call even before Orgeron gets shown the door. Perhaps even as we speak.

I think that if LSU tries to fire Orgeron for cause and it's linked to any morality issue, hiring Freeze would get a lot harder from a PR point of view.
Tennessee should have hired him.

He is the best coach they can realistically get. If you need a good laugh go look at some of the coaching wish lists they have on tRant.

Coach O and his public romances do not involve any LSU COEDS or Female employees under his jurisdiction in the Football office to my knowledge. So this is not a Bobby Petrino situation at Arkansas that got him fired. His public romances are not a good PR image and I would say the running around campus without a shirt is probably more of a PR problem for LSU than his personal life which as I said does not involve best I can tell LSU COEDS or female employees in the Football office.
Now the Title IX stuff which he has been named in this lawsuit???? That could be something that gets into Cause. How much is true? What can be attributed to Coach O, etc?
The last time there was a hearing in Federal Court here in Baton Rouge was 30 August. I haven't heard what the outcome of that was.
