This is nothing compared to going to The Super Bowl!!

Many of those well-healed pay more then 10G's to see that plus Hotel Meals Etc. Everything is Super Inflated.
Not me! Hello Wal-mart for the snacks etc etc watch it on my personal 50 yard line.

Oh No! Verne and Gary are calling the frickin game!!!!

It's because they sell season tickets and such long before the teams are decided. My dad has 4 Season tickets to the BCSNCG that he's had since 1998. I've gone to quite a few of them, and they usually are in a middle 'dividing' section between the two fan bases, with a mixture of many different people who may not care about either team.

You don't expect the celebrities to miss the games, do you?

I would expect nothing less.

$$$ is the name of the game these days and not for the true fans !

Sad, but true. When UT went to the BCSCG in 2005, we bit the bullet and bought tickets from brokers because we knew we'd never sniff a ticket at our current Longhorn Foundation donation level. This year we lucked up. My fiance works for UT and scored us tickets at face value. Woo Hoo!!

I know a ton of people who bought tickets months ago, just in case. Texas fans learned their lesson last time and, as you said, it's all about the almighty $$$. For this reason, and the fact that some UT fans are willing to fork over some serious moola for tickets, I anticipate Bama fans being heavily outnumbered in Pasadena.

Bama fans are NEVER heavily outnumbered...in ANY bowl. The RV army will drive across country and set up camp outside the Rose Bowl.

anyway...I was making fun of the douche that thought he could call the ticket office after the SECCG and get tickets to the NCG. and what's even funnier is he actually thought they would have extra tickets he could buy.

Just how many of your trailer park buddies do you think could afford to go to Pas,Cal...???...it would take six months of income for some of you to go that far, pay for tickets, meals, room ....get real....

I meant inside the stadium...but we'll see. I don't doubt that Gumps will descend upon Pasadena by the thousands though.

I realize you Bammers are new to this BCS Title Game stuff. It's been a long time since 1992. Just ask us Tiger fans how to score tickets, we've had a couple of recent experiences. (Hint: you should have started back in the summer)

Choupique19, have you already sold your tickets? You know, the one's you bought this summer in anticipation of LSU making to the BCS Title Game. I personally don't need a pair, got mine from a sibling that works for ESPN, but I have a buddy that could use a pair badly.

The Cotton Bowl is only allotting 13,000 tickets per team to Jerry World.

Corporations have officially fricked over bowl seasons.
