Not this LSU fan. I said Henry was the best player in that draft and wanted my Cowboys to take him over Zeke. But I did predict Henry and Fournette would be the two best backs in the league during their prime so I whiffed on that one.

You LSU fans claim to know plenty about the NFL, but cant appreciate greatness in 22.

I know patrick peterson is a HOFer, you best believe 2 more yrs of King doing King things he will be 1st ballot.

edit, i need to apologize for the language, cleaned it up.

I think it is utterly silly to say the best player has to be on the team with the most wins. It's utterly stupid. LF7 is so much better than Henry.

I am not declaring LF7 the best to every come out of the SEC and the GOAT based on one long run in the NFL. Bo Jackson is the best rb I have ever seen come out of the SEC. Henry was an above average running back in the sec who got yards because Saban gave him 900 touches a game.

So for you to talk him as the GOAT, you are talking his further development in the NFL. But, I will concede his GOAT status soon as Henry hoist as much hardware as other LSU running backs at the NFL level. Till then, pump the breaks on his greatness.

Dude give it up...Henry is better than Fournette.

Just let it go. Does it really matter?

In college people thought he was slow or lacked acceleration and quickness but anybody who saw his combine, when his measurable were as good or better than Von Miller’s, should’ve known that he was more than athletic enough and would be a star in the NFL.

True.

I never got into the MY SCHOOL'S PLAYER IS BETTER IN THE NFL THAN YOURS!!! arguments. That is completely irrelevant to me.

Fournette is a Buccaneer. As a Saints fan, that makes him the enemy.

I wasn't directing that at you, some others seem to hate one or the other because he played for the "other team".

I do like watching these guys, as they would be a nightmare to tackle and you could't catch them either.

Henry is a beast, but don't act like bama fans don't take every opportunity to shite on every LSU player in the NFL.

I guess it's fortunate that Fournette has a team award to fall back on when the individual metrics (you know, what the thread is actually about?) just aren't up to snuff, right?

I'd love to see a Marty Schottenheimer coached team with both King and Fournette. They'd run 83 times a game and throw 3 passes.

Well.... clyde, I'm sure if you asked LF what he would want more, rushing titles or a Superbowl ring... he'd say the ring.
Probably same for Henry, but he's not getting a ring in Tenn.

super bowls:

Fournette: one!

Doesn't Robert Horry have like 5 or 6 NBA Championships?

Is he as good as Jordan?

Anybody remember the name of the kid from West Alabama that picked off that Seattle pass to win the Super Bowl?

No one gives a shite, and no one remembers that as anything other than Brady's win.

Barry Sanders never sniffed a super bowl and he's considered the best ever. Derrick Henry is punching his HOF ticket as we speak.

Don't lump them together like that. Right now Henry is in a class of 1.

One of the stupidest things I’ve seen on this site. Congrats.
