encountered him online on BamaMag when I said
something, don't remember what, that made him think

"MoooooooooooooooooAgEWE". When I protested I wasn't
an Auburn supporter, he responded, don't worry about it, just pass it on to a real one.

no. He was a DMD but it's only important at all because he was, in fact, an educated man, and the PCBama was just his internet persona. His name was Robert Cowles, and was a personal friend of mine.
COWLES, DR. ROBERT F. D.M.D., 66, a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, and brother and a resident of Ramer, AL passed away Monday, February 21, 2011....

I'd heard PC had died, can't remember where I found out (might have been here). I recall all of those names from back in the day.
It was a poster by the name of WhoLeoJones who introduced me to TD and the SECRant way back in '09. I'd met him and hung out with him a couple of times IRL after we had gotten to know each other on Saturday Tailgate and the old OppoNets forum on VolQuest.com. When I first registered here I recognized a lot of names from those forums: CrimsonSchwaaz, PARTSMAN103, HONKifUvCOACHED4BAMA, antibarner, cajunbama and others. Of those only anti and cajun are still active so far as I know (at least under those handles).
I wonder if the Bama poster who went by the name Newman on ST and OppoNets ever made it over here to tRant. Would love to catch up with him.
Schwaaz was another personal acquaintance but I haven't heard from him in years, and lost contact info. Partsman posts here occasionally though I never knew him personally. I never see the Newman poster anywhere these days. But yeah, I posted on Saturday Tailgate a few times and was on OppoNets for a good while but Vol12 and I didn't get along very well because I didn't kiss his arse, so he banned me more than once. I think my last username there was HighPlainsDrifter. As you know, Roy Adams was the celebrated poster on that board. He and a crew of UT and UA fans got together for dinner a couple of times. I did not attend. I think Partsman did
