re: Found an old underrated LSUFreek GIF

Freek was good and he raised the bar on SEC sports boards, but the original SEC farkers were TidePride and OrlTiger, back in the Alliance Sports days, some 21+ years ago now. It's a good guess that Freek learned some things from them.

edit because it seems I nearly always have to edit: TidePride was a devoted Alabama fan but lived in Auburn. He passed away several years ago. I saw a OrlTiger post on the LSU board a while back. Not sure if it's the same guy. I did post to him and mentioned the old Alliance boards but as far as I know he didn't respond.

he was cool. TidePride was the first very talented farker (you probably remember Barner Hell) and OrlTiger learned some from him, but he got really good too, and seemed to be a genuinely nice guy, though a devoted Auburn fan, so a pain in the arse for Alabama fans occasionally.

Another character from those old days was PCBama. He was actually the guy that coined the term Barner. That kind of grew out of Allbarn. PC was from Ramer Alabama, and though he was a hunt and peck typist and tended to post one liners, he was actually a dentist, and was a very bright guy. He also coined the "MooooooooAgEwe" He had a knack for getting under the skin of Auburn fans.

There are a lot of LSU posters that have tried to ascend to his greatness but they’ve all failed.


I’d argue Pain Train is pretty up there though. Dude’s 2008 national championship Hillary Clinton-Donald Trump gif is the stuff of legend.
