please tell me how I can "draw the line" relative to the consultants our football coach chooses to employ on his staff?

I'll not defend it, but I plan to totally ignore it no matter how insensitive it makes me appear to a bunch of anonymous message board posters.

Fans of other programs should just thank their lucky stars Saban's at Bama and they don't have to deal with this shite.

I wouldn’t call him a murderer per se but if you don’t think he’s a sadist you haven’t read the report

but you bunch of hypocrites have got to have something to make yourselves feel less inferior to Alabama's football program, so here you are.

No, I would say the exact same thing if it were at LSU and unlike many Alabama fans I don’t draw the majority of my self worth from the success of my alma matter’s football program. But that’s the soup you swim in so I understand why you’d default to this line of thinking.

No one cares. No one is talking about this. Not ESPN, not Foxsports. Maybe they realize a guy breaking down film isn't really a big deal.

You're wasting a lot of energy and fake outrage on something no one else cares about.

I don’t expect you to care about what I think, but I think it’s interesting you’re basically admiting you care more about winning than you do about the welfare of the students at your school.

You said you have 2 kids at UA. How would you feel if they brought in an associate professor to the department 1 of your kids was majoring in whose previous employment ended because he or she was implicated in establishing a style of education that resulted in the death of a student?

You don’t have to answer that question to me because again I don’t expect you to care what I think. Just answer it to yourself.

Saban has to be looking for his replacement. He’s not getting any younger.

If you don’t care then why are you still posting in this thread?

I'll assure you that my self worth, not to mention my net worth is far superior to yours, Junior.

Dude, I pay fraternity dues (for 2) and kids have died, accidents have happened, Bama has the largest Greek system in the country.....move on with life, hope you raised your kids to make good solid decisions for themselves and pray they stay safe. I'm not pulling them from fraternity life because bad shite has happened.

I just don't concern myself with negative shite, I try to eliminate the clutter and these statements by Pawl Finebaum are nothing more than noise.

To point out your stupidity. It's the only remotely interesting thing about this, LSU fans trying to convince themselves this is a big deal.

Durkin is a turd. But he's a turd who can coach.

Is it any surprise he is the latest on the Saban Magical Mystery Tour? Saban has given second chances to some very toxic people. Many of whom, it should be said, have gone on to bigger and better things after some time in Saban Rehab.

I think it is a combination of factors. Saban wants cheap brain power. A smart coach with some baggage sitting on the sideline? He can have a job.

There is, however, another reason I think that is hovering around in the back of Saban's mind. "I can fix these f*ck ups."

He believes he can take the damaged goods of college football and turn them into desirable properties... because he's done it time after time.
