Has looked impressive and will start at LB. Many thanks to Coach O for not being able to seal the deal on yet another elite prospect.

Well, there's one thing O is known for and it's his inability to recruit.

Unfortunately, LSU did not have a spot for Cooper. Saw him play in high school and by all reports he is a good young man. Happy to hear he is doing well and not surprised, I was hopeful LSU could have fit him into the class.

Not really saying much as it's Aggy, but I'm happy for the kid.

He is the kid from Covington Aggie beat Louisiana Tech, Louisville and ULL for

Although LSU did offer he never really considered LSU. Matter of fact Rivals had him at a 4% prediction to LSU.

So just another absurd thread. Which is common with those buffoons.

Clearly an LSU lock. Aggie always seeking validation.

Sad.

Fortunately more and more recruits are following this trend

Almost everything you wrote here is incorrect. Edgerrin had a non-committable offer from LSU and was told late in the process that LSU did not have a spot for him. He had previously had a real offer and been committed to Oklahoma.

Do you mean to tell me that Aggy is LYING? I thought that was against their esteemed honor code.

Didn't he not even have an LSU offer until late in the cycle?

You are correct Charlotte. He decommitted from Oklahoma in hopes of staying home at LSU. But the LSU offer was never committable. When LSU told him late that it would not become committable, Oklahoma had already filled his spot. He then picked A&M over his remaining offers (which were from non-Power Five programs). EDIT: He did have one from Florida State late which I had forgotten.

Thank you for the clarification I was simply looking at Rivals..

Your clarification makes the OP even appear more silly.

True and I'm happy for him getting a shot to start. Seems like a good kid. He just wasn't that high on the LSU board.
