Okay...let me get this straight.
One of our posters took a shot at Alabama, and you got mad and took a shot back at Georgia. His shot, of course was a shot directly at you(or by your own reasoning, why would you respond to him) yet your shot was in general so we (Georgia fans)shouldn't respond to you?
So, if both were general shots why are you justified in getting aggravated and responding but Georgia fans are wrong for getting aggravated and responding?

Do they count for the school? Sure. Did I experience them? No. It would be accurate for someone to say MY first national championship was 1992. You either can't comprehend that is what I said, or you're just refusing to acknowledge it out of sheer, old man ignorance.

I "took at shot" at Alacowboy by pointing out the bigger picture of who is the best at winning championships. This obviously triggered you to respond to me, and I've since pointed out Bama's historical dominance in comparison to UGA's because it obviously bothers you even if you want to pretend it doesn't.

Yeah we're not aligned at all on what happened. I corrected his reply indicating that Nick Saban was, in fact, the best at winning championships. This much we agree on. I never said UGA fans couldn't respond to Bama fans (it's a free-ish country afterall). I said if you come at Bama fans sideways, don't cry when one fires back. You've been crying ever since.
I initially said first, not second, because the odds were pretty good it was the first national championship he had actually experienced. I explained this. Right after you made it clear that you (not Alacowboy) are a senior citizen, I said congrats on your second, and you've been blowing me up ever since about it.

Well he did it in response to someone saying Saban is the best at anything the NCAA throw at him, so one could easily infer that he's questioning it. But me clarifying that Saban is still the best at winning national championships doesn't negate the fact that you showed up triggered af and can't seem to let it go.

That wasn't my reasoning at all and it's kind of sad you still haven't grasped that. Since you're 64 maybe that dementia has started creeping in. I'm sure there are a few stumbling around, but like I said the vast majority of UGA fans I've met while living in ATL aren't. Factor in that casual internet forums aren't exactly known for high percentages of senior citizens, and there was a solid chance they weren't either.

I’m excited that Burton chose Alabama. I don’t think Alabama lacks for talent at WR but Burton is a known commodity that has been productive when targeted on another great team. Sort of the same deal as Jameson Williams in that regard even if Burton is not the same type of player.
Again, I figured that Alabama would have a couple guys step up at this position anyway but the addition of Burton gives me a lot of confidence WR in 2022 won’t be like the right side of the offensive line was in 2021. Couldn’t say if it will be a position of strength but it ought to be productive enough to make for a great offense again.

That's a lie LOL. Our WR recruiting the last two previous cycles (not including the incoming WRs) aside from the transfer portal has been filled with misevaluations and projects. None of the guys we've recruited looks to be elite. We missed out on Boutte and X. Worthy. Those two are guys we desperately wanted. We've been in the portal to address our WR misevaluations and it's why we took so many WRs this incoming class. Look for 1-3 more WRs to transfer out of Bama after the Spring.

So you're entire premise is that I was trolling so I wouldn't get a response? You realize the point of trolling is to illicit a response, right? That's how that works old-timer. I knew this when I responded to AlaCowboy, which is why I used very specific wording in my reply.

What happened was I responded to AlaCowboy attempting to bait him under the notion that he was under 45 (I explained this in my first post to you if you care to go back and read it carefully). If he turned out older, I'd make a simple correction (like I did once you revealed your age) and take another angle. Unfortunately he did not bite whatsoever, and he hasn't even commented once in this thread since despite this lengthy exchange that followed (seems like alter behavior to me, but I digress)
Alas my attempt wasn't entirely ineffective because here you are, 3 pages later, still on my hook despite me trying to rip the damn thing out of your mouth and throw your old arse back in the water!
Once again, congrats on experiencing YOUR SECOND national championship, and thank you very much for sending over Burton. I'm really excited about his potential with a heisman QB returning!

I get what you are saying, based on the Championship game....but....all the receivers (or at least most) were highly rated receivers that almost every other school wanted, too. They did not perform in that game, but my guess is the younger players did not get as much playing time/experience as they used to due to blowout games you guys are used to having.
Burton is a great addition. Honestly he tended to get dinged up bit every year (it seemed) but he is very talented and will help out. If he stays healthy I think he will be your new Metchie.
