Really hate to hear this if it turns out true.

Not important right now, but it is totally all wrong that Stabler is not in the PF HOF.

Can you imagine a Super Bowl-winning QB asking for YOUR autograph?

I also saw his snake run in the mud. When he played he was one of the most confident quarterbacks I have ever seen.

Really like him at Oakland.Snake, the book is his biography and worth reading.

Is a rumor really going around if it's only on one board? a legendarily shitty board at that? I dunno, I find it hard to believe that hours after this thread was started, there is still not a single mention of even the rumor on twitter. Not claiming to know anything but that would be very unusual if there were anything to this. Seems like BS tbh.

Hope this is false. Great player, although I cant forgive him for his mud-run (it was a Kick6 kinda thing in that game).

Sad if true. Met him at the old Innisfree once. Man sure could drink

I am/was friends with the owner of the pink pony from the 80's early 90's, and he used to hang out on the deck often, have a few shirts autographed by him and yes could drink

Oh boy, here we go. Everyone get ready for auNecks to go full 'tard and start talking about Dead Snake Meat and how the drunk beat his wife.

Keep an eye out for skeleton replicas of Stabler, replete with a whiskey bottle, at auNeck tailgates for the next 10 years or so.

yeah you went on another diatribe about Auburn. Sorry we are first on your mind, even though bama is number one in your heart. You definitely fricked up a sincere thread and brought me into it

That is your fanbase; that is you. It's who you are and always have been.

Thanks Harvey, again you are catching up with Phan, just a few more days and you might over take him here on the board. He has a one up on you with two bases covered

Oh, I brought you into it? I suppose that means something to someone? No auNeck impresses me.

Let's review auNeck class:

And it goes on and on. This is not even mentioning the thousands and thousands of times silly auNecks like yourself have mentioned dead Bear meat, dead Bear, dead stupid drunk, drunk wife beating Bear, drunk child beating Bear, etc... on message boards to get brownie points among your fellow cult members.

Now you wish to act self-righteous and sanctimonious about someone doubting your sincerity when lamenting Snake's death? You wish for people to believe the auNeck fanbase isn't already dreaming up ways to denigrate him?

How about you and the rest of the auNeck fambly shut the frick up about Kenny Stabler. If he died, no Alabama fan needs or wants the condolences of your type of trash.

Here's my CSB and subtle brag.

I used to love going to the Pink Pony pub and the old Margaritaville in Gulf Shores. I saw him at those places a few times but never met him.

I dead meet him in the early 90s at the keg in Orange Beach. It was late one night after a trip to the FloraBama. He bought my friends and I a few rounds of drinks and talked with us about football for a while. He was pretty damn cool and funny.

My family bought the lot next door to his old house on Ono a long time ago but never build a house, still have the lot though. I had planned that if we built a house, that while visiting, if I ever saw him outside I would grab the football and throw it over in his yard to see what kind of reaction I would get.

Clearly, the dream would be to catch a pass back.

Alert is so sensitive. So AU posters have been given Snake props, but he wants to whine. Bammer to the core. So tell us Alert - has he passed or not? Great player no doubt, but hope it doesn't hurt your feelings if I still see him covered in mud.
You are a whiner, more worried about others than what you do in life. Must be a demo also.
If you don't try to make football personalities immortal and saintly, your feelings wont be hurt so much.
