Anyone know what former LSU players have earned in NFL during the same time frame as Saban.
That is one hell of a lot of money any way you look at it.

I see only one problem. Nick Saban is no longer head coach at Alabama.

Burrow just signed a contract $275 million. Jefferson and Chase will sign contracts that will make them the highest paid WRs when their deals comes due. That's pretty good I think.

Don’t know where you buy Chargers, but seems like you may want to shop around.

And he's exactly right. Put yourself on a generous budget and invest the rest. Too many players splurge the first couple of years living beyond their means, then when they get injured or cut file for bankruptcy. They get caught up in impressing team mates and other players with fancy cars, big houses and fast living and blow everything they have thinking the money will be there forever.

I remember reading that Gilbert Arenas had spent his entire rookie salary before his draft. It’s absurd how some of these cats spend their money literally faster than they bring it in. An injury could have put him right back where he was.

Exactly. When you are young and have never faced injuries or serious illness you think it will continue forever, while you are actually a play away from a blown knee.

They should invest heavily and live modestly in the early years, and loosen the purse strings a bit later, while investing and saving early. One problem they also have are hanger ons that want their money. The hangers on want their rich "friends" to pay everything for them and take care of them. And then they have to find an honest money advisor. There are way too many people out there who are way too eager to separate them from their money.
