The Border

Posted by TigerPlate on 12/28/25 at 4:20 pm
Amazing that no one talks about the border crisis anymore. Where are the cameras, the long lines, the mass of people lining up for the freebies handed out by the Biden administration to buy votes and alter the census results. Biden begged Congress to step up and blamed the Republicans for not giving him the power and resources to fix the immigration issue. He conveniently failed to mention how he circumvented the immigration policy of our country designed to protect the country. as Trump said " we did not need new laws we just needed a new President." Just think how much better the country would be if this mass illegal migration had not been allowed to happen.. .
Of course the devil made her do it. Perfectly plausible..
Sorry this statement is pure fiction. This guy either one hops the pass or throws the ball into the side line seats. He does have the ability to run but an elite passer he is not. Nor is he capable of of reading defenses. LSU needs to get top notch talent from the portal for any chance of a successful season. The fact that they chose to paly an injured Nuss over letting MVB take on the role speaks volumes as to what the staff felt of his ability.

In Kim I trust! I kind of figure that she knows more about how to coach this team than anyone else on this board does. Probably why she getting paid the big bucks to do the job. I think her track record is proof enough of continuing success. Apparently the top notch player's she has recruited agree.
I hit the FF on the remote when it comes to commercials whenever possible.. I did watch the recent TC commercial as was impressed with it. Really clever and entertaining. Of course ATT is a bait and switch company. They lull you in as a new customer then jack up the price soon afterwards. What really gets me is I have to watch inordinate number of commercials to get through a college football game. I am old enough to remember when TV was B&W and fumbles and TD's were not surgically dissected for five minutes. Games were much shorter back then. Kickoff returns were exciting. The on the field blocks and tackles were like a car wreck without air bags and seat belts. :nana:

re: Lane messaging to Curne?

Lane and Charlie Weis have an objective analysis of talent. they weigh the value vs the financial cost What fit in the previous LSU offense may not be a good fit in the new one. The $ value vs the overall playing skill is objectively assessed. Some previously "valued" players may not be as valued objectively under Lane's offense.
So it does not make sense to me. Democrats polling so poorly. Yet, they continue to win elections and maybe retake the house in the midterms. In my view many of their elected representatives appear to be stupid. They do continue to get reelected to office . Winning elections is the only approval rating that counts. The only thing that in my mind explains this is the tainted news media who continue to promote the lying and untruthful agenda propagated by the Democratic.
I used to believe in justice and the court system metering out justice for all and everyone is equal under the law. etc. Then i witnessed the OJ trail and I realized I was wrong in assuming that justice is blind and that justice system is about getting it right. I was naive at best. Stupid at worst.
Seems that many have bought into the idea that illegal immigrants deserve due process. Lawyers being paid to defend these peoples "non existent rights" are profiting. With the blessing of culpable judges, these people are fomenting the inevitable terrorist attack on our country and it's citizens. For years our own laws have been used to protect those who would do us harm.
These illegal immigrant terrorist are are the modern day Trojan Horse.
Does no good to speculate. I figure that when the portal opens we will see a number of LSU and Ole Miss players participate.
Agree if he was coming to LSU he would have already announced.
Other coaches out there who would jump at the opportunity. LSU can afford to pay the right person. I do not want Robinson now. Let him go to Knee Braska.

smart play for underwood would be to take less NIL money and get into a pass oriented offense that could develop his talents to make a successful career in the NFL Michigan is not that place. Guessing his family figured 12 million invested wisely would provide a steady income source for very long time. Short term gain vs much greater long term rewards. They chose the quick fix.
How about deporting the people that want to keep the immigrants that are rapist, child molesters, murders, gang members, and terrorist in our country. They harm US citizens and usurp our financial resources.

NO NO O please. I cringe when I remember him representing the LSU tigers in front of the media. Only thing I liked was when he would shout GO TIgas! His lack of ability showed both on the field and off. His TJ Friday show was a total laugh in show. Why would LSU want to hire a guy they just spent millions to get rid of. I think Lane has better judgement than to hire this guy. At least I hope so..
Ukraine is piggybank for all kinds of political money laundering. Billions of dollars funneled into all kinds of suspicious backdoor channels. Biden was getting payouts from the beginning. Corrupt Ukrainian officials also on the take,, This could be handled differently with a better outcome for Ukraine if the Europeans would give them the armament needed to strike Putin and Russian assets deep inside of Russia. Knock out the Russian Oil capacity and the funding for the war goes away. Reminds me of Nam with fighting a war with hands tied behind your back. McNamara would not allow bombing the North to the extent needed to defeat the North VC.
Do you not believe these drug operations are multinational? do you also not believe that getting Maduro out of Venezuela and establishing Maria Corina as a pro US president would not be beneficial for US interest.

Transnational organized crime poses an increasingly serious threat to public safety, democratic governance and state legitimacy in Latin America. Once primarily concentrated in countries like Mexico and Colombia, criminal networks have recently expanded into new regions such as Ecuador, Peru and Chile, integrating themselves both geographically and institutionally.

US has to establish control of our backyard. Not letting these Cartels and China influence themselves any longer in the region is key to our own securtiy.
No oil, No money, No Maduro! Freeze his assets. No money, No host country going to take him. Life is cruel. :banghead:
Are you clairvoyant? Is that how you know the destination for these boats. I am able to tell you with confidence that if they are loaded with drugs, there destination is definitely Davy Jones's locker.
Could you please give me the lottery numbers for the one billion dollar drawing Saturday? .
My problem is with the backfires, like Honorable John Roberts, who had all these notable conservative credentials .After being appointed he turned out not to be as conservative as we had hoped. Seems the Republicans are not always great at judging who is truly a conservative Constitutionalist judge. We can not afford a error of judgement of this magnitude again,
