It's called depth and possible future starters. Is it that hard?

It's not about old miss. It's about getting justice for these young men.

You're talking to people who think that a multi year bowl ban, double digit scholarship losses, 1 unofficial visit per year for all prospects throughout probation, and the ability for anyone on the team to transfer with no penalty when the NCAA rubber stamps the waiver is reason to make fun of people that told their dumb asses that they were getting hammered.

Need some clarification on this. An OM buddy says that the limit is for the entire recruitment of a player. In other words, a visit to OlMiss Junior Day would be the only unofficial a kid could take to Oxford.

If true, that's extremely penalizing

I never understood all the hate between MSU and OM. I grew up in California, Oregon, and Washington State. I went to ducks games in Eugene when they only won two games a year. I live in FL now close to Miami. I chose to go to Ole Miss due to some family ties and I loved it.

I could be a Ducks fan, UCF fan, Miami fan, but I fell in love with Ole Miss. I didn't agree with everything I saw or heard while I was in that state and got in a few fights being from California.

I had an aunt graduate from LSU, an aunt from MSU, cousins from the University of Tennessee and I loved them all except on game day.

I'll tell you the truth though, I love college football and Ole Miss. And it sucks what's happening but the University brought it upon itself and will have to deal with it. I hope we can still compete but who knows.

I didn't follow Ole Miss football until my sophomore year. I guess I'll try to leave it behind for a year or two. One of my great Joy's in life is ruined at the moment, as silly as it sounds... I wouldn't wish it upon any fan.

The difference is Oregon and Oregon State didn't openly cheat and act like there was nothing wrong with it. Ole Miss feels entitled and are getting just what they deserve. It won't matter though, they will continue to cheat and will continue to get caught.

keep doing it until we figure out a way to not get caught. It's hilarious to me how butt hurt other fanbases get when Ole Miss fans say it was worth it and to keep doing it

It cracks me up seeing Alabama, Auburn, State and Flordia fans preach about doing things "the right way."

nah, back 2 normality. They have always been a bottom feeder. 2 years of bigboy football while cheating, and still not winning a Division title was so worth it.

I don't think Ole Miss knows either at this point. Some clarity is definitely needed, bc as you stated, it's a huge recruiting penalty if that's the case.

Ole Miss is going to appeal this part FWIW.

I'm not for anything that penalizes the student athletes and this would seem to limit a kid's opportunity, imo

Wow, things are going to really get tough now if they start jumping ship. Some kind of way they have to find players to stick.
