Why would anyone defend the player. He brought the gun that killed the young lady. He was there during the murder, his car has bullet holes, these were his pals, friends, etc. and any coach who continues to play him prior to all of this playing out is an azz period
He may not be charged, but this is clearly thug-level behavior. He’s associating with murderers. I can’t think of any SEC school that would be happy with him representing the university on the hardwood.

Exactly. Why defend the guy? Who would want this kind of thug trash associated with your university?

So bama coach covered up player attack on a young girl, other than her being publicly murdered this is nothing new. Nothing to see here, nothing will come of it

frick it, those guys are trash. Let Saban be the AD & also coach hoops.

My question is this , if Miller took him the gun to him , does that mean Miller had the gun in his possession or did he go get it from someone else and take it to him? Not a good look either way.

I want-
The texts, especially what Miller texted back.
The dashcam video from Miller's Challenger.

Nothing wrong with giving a guy his own gun.
He could have prevented her death, but, instead he did gang shite and helped in an assassination. Gang Gang, though, huh Bammers.

You’re right, handing a gun off to someone for murder then blocking in the victim’s car with your own is just normal behavior. The fact that you, the Bama athletic department, and Nate Oats continue to downplay all of this speaks volumes for how shitty all of you are. You should be completely embarrassed trying to defend this shite, but then again, we are talking about the university of alabama.

I better never hear another peep out of a Bama fan about Baylor. Hell any other team.
My God.
My God.

We need a pinned thread.
“As the Tide floods”
Any football players at the scene?
Btw, Forde makes leaps. IF Miller had committed a crime, he would have been charged. It is sad that someone died. Nothing good happens late at night.
Miller is guilty of associating with scum. He may be scum too, but he is not going to jail for now unless something else comes to light.

Because to some people, brand loyalty trumps all. And for many such types, brand loyalty to college athletics is their drug of choice. They'll defend their particular brand until Hell freezes over.
I used to think, regarding online interactions at least, that the anonymity had something to do with it - but I haven't believed that since at least 2019. Just beneath that thin veneer of civility that allows society to function, many folks have a raging psychopath just waiting to cut loose - be it over politics, college sports, or whatever else pushes their particular buttons.
Sure, some here are trolling. But many are not. They "believe" in Miller's absolute innocence - because he wears their brand. If he wore another brand, however, different folks would defend and they would accuse.

There's zero doubt that Oats is gone now.
If not, this will start trickling down to the AD, athletic department and boosters.
He'll be fired today.

The elephant in the room is that the athletic dept presumably knew most of these details a month ago. If they didn't they are not doing their job. If they did, how did Miller avoid any team discipline? A young mother was murdered and all you can say is wrong place wrong time like he just randomly walked into the situation?
