This ^^ has apparently become a thing.
Auburn valued it so much they guaranteed the man $49MM.

ITT: burners pretending they're proud of this

Honestly?

They've convinced themselves so much that everyone else cheats (and that Alabama has engaged in an Illuminati-level conspiracy to keep them down) that they probably feel they deserve to win like this.

In case you're not aware, the Red Elephant Club holds more power than the Republican and Democrat parties combined, could easily have any President removed from power quietly, and then erase everyone's memories that they ever existed.

All you other retards are the one making conspiracy theories about Auburn and the refs, not us.

Gus Malzhan has yet to turn in back to back 9 win seasons. Was Les Miles that mediocre? Was Mark Richt that mediocre?

nice assumption that you realize the full extent of my thought process here

look dude, if I thought there was a chance at this point that Gus would get fired this year, I'd be singing a completely different song.

But I'd wager the refs killed that shot on Saturday, so at this point, seems best just to lean into to it and try to glean at least some enjoyment out of this season while eagerly awaiting 2021 when Gus will be coaching for his job, and then 2022 when hopefully either Mario or Lane will be on our sidelines

I'm specifically referencing your lack of nuance in pulling fringe conspiratorial nonsense and making it normative to an entire group when not a single Auburn fan in this thread has articulated anything close to what you're suggesting

It's a weird dynamic because almost every Auburn fan I know, and on this board, are past ready to cut ties with him, but then many relish in fans of others schools pointing how many breaks have gone their way since he's been head coach.

And there are a couple of things not brought up in the OP. The horse collar tackle on Maziel late in the 2013 game that wasn't called comes to mind.

And I am specifically referring to ITT, the main board for Auburn fans and ground zero for many conspiracy theories about college football. If you're not part of ITT, congrats on maintaining your sanity.

The OP referenced ITT. Get over it.

We deserve it for having to put up with all of you. Kentucky runner’s knee was down outside the 1, bs holding call on Tanks run in the OM game, rulebook supports the Shivers pinky-graze call, and Arky is complaining that they lost due to a minor technicality. You want to go back further? Murray never crossed the goal line.

After the Kick 6 I had a former Ferrum player tell me “on long kicks even we knew you had to have someone speedy on the field in case they returned it”.
