To be clear I don’t expect us to win the whole thing, or even to get through LSU. But if we were to win it, this is the only storybook that made sense.

We had the ghost of 2019 FSU, where we couldn’t hit against a garbage pitcher and lost 1-0 after Campbell’s gem. We broke that with a no hitter yesterday.

We have to win 2 straight against LSU, which mimicked ghosts of LSU in 2009 and Carolina in 2012 when we were close but just had stronger ghosts the we couldn’t beat. We’ll see.

If we somehow win all of that we have the west coast ghost from all the things we don’t need to talk which Coastal Carolina still oddly reflects, or the chin beards from northern Kentucky (I wish OSU was still here). But I’m terrified of Coastal if we somehow come out of LSU.

This is the first year as an Arkansas fan I felt like we had the best team in the CWS. We ran into Kade pitching great, hats off.

But… if we get Dave his first title, this is how it was meant to be. It probably won’t happen. But, I’m comfortable with how the baseball gods have set this up.

If we don’t win it now, we probably never will. But, this is our shot. Let’s have fun the next 2-6 days.

This is how I felt when we had to come out of the loser's bracket in 23 and beat UT. Vitello had gained a SLIGHT momentum edge over LSU as a program based on some recent history, and I wanted LSU to put him out.

I hope we end your season tonight, but if y’all beat us twice I want you to get your first Natty.

And I want the final out to be a caught pop up in shallow right foul territory.

We’ve had some great cathartic moments like that recently: Jordan Jefferson’s little brother catching the onside kick to seal the win at Bama leading to a perfect season ending in the Dome, beating Florida for our latest CWS title, two Heisman QBs in 4 years after being the QB graveyard.

Passionate fanbases of non-dominant programs deserve those moments.

BS - that whole series was about Shaddy. Dude played hero ball, and it cost him.

I hope we smoke the shite out of y'all..........but i've become a big fan of your SS. great size, agility, arm strength and looks really comfortable in the box. i don't know how, but we've managed to keep him under wraps so far, need to do it 1 more time....good luck and F off.

Quite Honestly I see some comparison of this Arkansas team to 2023 LSU.

Great pitching. While no one is Paul Skenes, I believe UA's overall staff is better than the staff we had in 2023.
