SideTaint is fairly ignorant.
For example, last year, I shared an article reporting on how Saban was looking at transfer quarterbacks. Taint swore up and down that it wasn't true, meanwhile, Tyler Buchner was literally on an airplane flying to Tuscaloosa.
That's just one of many similar situations.

Moscona is an a-hole who's always trying to act cool. He's perfectly described by the Offspring song "Pretty Fly For A White Guy".
Problem is, we have limited options for LSU discussions on the radio. We also have a degenerate gambling show disguised as a sports show.
I'd say that's part of the reason the Rant is so popular, there's really not any other avenue to catch sports news.
