The only Alabama coach that didn't post at least 1 10 win season since 1919 was JB Whitworth who coached from 1955-1957.

I think we'll be ok.

Not so sure about that. NIL + transfer portal has taken all of the advantages away from the blue bloods.

You think that will satisfy Alabama fans? An occasional 10 win season. Look at the coaches after Bryant: Perkins, Shula, Franchoine, Curry (Dodged Bullets with Mike Price and Rich Rod). Perkins was the head coach at the Giants, hand picked by the Bear, never had a chance.

As a Florida fan, I can tell you all it takes is a couple swing and misses in a row before the wheels fall off. It happens fast my man.

The worst case is winning 10 games every 3-4 years. That means your in the playoff every 3-4 years going forward. That's the worst case. That's if we make a shite hire that turns into the next Dubose Shula etc.

There's just as much of a possibility they hire someone who posts a record similar to Stallings and we get a single championship out of a bunch of playoff appearances

No other coach In the world would have had that alabana team winning like they did. That’s biggest difference. No other coach would have won the SECw, SEC, and made CFP with this team.

Imagine a new coach this past year…with bad Oline play, Milroe, avg defense, they aren’t going 11-1…9-3 at best and pitch forks would be out in full force.

Saban was the difference! But keep thinking it’s “Alabama” and not the coaching.

Yeah we went 11-2 last year, and will likely do better next year now that we have a real quarterback again.

This time next year your 8-5 azz will be pining for a 11-2 season.

Dynasty days are over though. Pro parity is now the name of the game.
