That's not what some of your biggest lobbyists are saying (UT lobbyists that is). Things are set up well for a move. If you'd like an email exchange detailing what I know, let me know.
The only thing that could blow up an A&M to SEC move at this point is ESPN acquiring Fox Sports, which is possible. Otherwise, the Leg, including Buddy Jones (Baylor Lobbyist) and Kent Hance (Tech power broker) have been taken care of, so to speak.

Which though it was a rough 15 years I think our University has finally realized what it'll take truly compete in the SEC, thus elevating our program to a place that I don't think we'd even be close to if we had stayed in the ACC or Indy.

IF TAMU does join the SEC I hope that the Ark /TAMU game is played in Dallas every year.

I can't help but laugh at the Aggies...they were so pissed about being treated like a little sister to Texas, and the Big 12 revenue split, but then just went right back to them when they promised them a little more money too. Then Texas rolls out their TV deal and the Aggies are pissed again.

I know it's hard thing for an egotistical sip like yourself to comprehend, but regardless of some of A&M's shortcomings in football in recent years, there's still a pretty long history of hatred between the two programs. If you deny that you are probably under the age of 20, and need to go spend your time updating your facebook page and less time posting naked pictures of men in an organization that constitutes a fraction of student enrollment from a university you didn't attend on a website supported by fans of a university you didn't attend and in all likelihood, have never even seen.

Glad you mentioned that 69 game. Texas should thank Notre Dame for going to the Cotton Bowl instead of LSU; LSU would have jammed the wishbone up Bevo's butt. Remember how easily Archie and the Rebels beat the Hogs in the Sugar Bowl. Come to the SEC.

This is the 1st off-season when I've heard Spurrier legitimately talk about winning the NC. Not sure if we can quite obtain that but I think Spurrier knows this will be the last season we have Jeffery and Lattimore on the same team, plus a SR QB, and hopefully Clowney. We're going to be talented no doubt.

Finebaum has already eaten his words. SC to Atlanta Arkansas to BCS.
Where is Ole Miss, MSU, Kentucky or Vandy? They can't find a road map to Atlanta much less the BCS in the past decade.
It's also pretty sad when Vandy turned more of profit last year than Ole Miss, ha ha.
