EKG, I will never ever tell you what to do but he is easily the biggest Aggie hater on the board. All the rest of them hate us for daring to try to compete with their beloved tigers, he hates us for the audacity to even be on the field or be in the conference with programs he sees as fundamentally superior. His comments are fun to riff on, but they are a black hole if you are looking for answers for his hatred.

Yeah, he is in a different category than the rest of the haters. He is the ultimate contraction- he can tell you EXACTLY how irrelevant A&M is down to minor details (like the stuff that only sips have the patience to wade through usually) from this weird "objective"perspective, but can't understand the massive hypocrisy when we act like A&M is a relevant program and he rejects the premise.
I normally hate this kind of throw away deflection, but I think an Aggie actually did frick his wife or something. It is the only way to explain it.
Honestly he makes me appreciate the SDVs of the world that can be fun to spar with. I only use his comments as a springboard to push my own agenda if it suits me.

Actually, even that is not really true. It's the trailer-dwelling t-shirt fans that can't just be a fan. They have to go on and on about how your school sucks (even though they couldn't get into either one of them).

I know a LOT of Texas Exs- hell my sister is one- and none of them are that annoying about football. Sure some give me the poor Aggie, and a few tried to sell the whole "TCU is an upgrade" bullshite that I quickly turned back on them the second we started playing LSU on Thanksgiving. But overall they mostly run away from football when the program isn't good, and blame "all the other cool things you can do in Austin" for why they stopped going to games.
It is the famous T Shirt sip that never once attended Texas and never will because he would have had to graduate high school first that gives that fanbase the obnoxious reputation. THEY are the ones who hang their self-worth on the Texas football team, THEY were ones happy to crack "where is A&M going? The MAC?" joke in 2011. They are the ones that made a lot of Aggies dislike what the SEC calls a sidewalk fan.
I have a unique experience different from most Aggies because I grew up in the SEC south. In the SEC south the equivalent of a T shirt sip isn't the exception, he is the rule. A good chunk of SEC fans (in fact many in this forum) are running on nothing more than state pride, and in some places like Bama the sidewalkers mutate into these manchildren that have a scary seriousness about them that makes you miss the obnoxious banter from a T shirt sip.
I think the longer we are in the SEC the more we will look back at laugh at our hatred of the T shirt sips. Hell a lot of them jumped to our bandwagon the second we moved- mouthbreathers love the SEC brand.
