Jeez. It's a new years eve bowl against a big 12 opponent. Easy travel and should have good viewership. Better record would have been a better bowl, this is fine.
And if we beat Okie light, that's good for recruiting in OK and Texas. And Beale street makes for a good party.

Last year Josh Heupel was not at the bowl game! That made a huge difference! Without the offensive coordinator at the bowl game hurt Missouri's offense.

I have a theory. Barry Alvarez was scared to send his 7-5 Whisky team to Nashville to face an SEC opponent so they defer the offer to go to the Pinstripe allowing 6-6 Purdue into the Music City, who of course we wouldn’t play again this year. So in short, screw the Big 10
