Florida is not the favorite at SEC Media days to win the East.

My how things have changed since the 1990s. THey were picked 2nd by the media in 2016 and 2017. They've been picked 3rd or lower every other season since 2011.

Considering the media has predicted the SEC Champion correctly 6 times in the last 26 years, that's probably a good thing.

I'm all for shitting on UF, but this thread is really just pointing out that we should have done more to stop them from going in 15 and 16. That and that they have really failed to find "the right coach" post Meyer...

Also.. keep in mind this is the same group of "experts" who picked Tennessee to win the East in 2016.

Wow. Never would have expected that Georgia would be picked over Florida.

Who from the east has been picked the last 8 years? I'm guessing mostly georgia, with some USCe and maybe Tennessee mixed in?

I'm guessing the number of correct divisional picks is considerably higher

Still won the East and been to Atlanta 12 times, winning 7. Doubling the number of appearances by UGA with 6. Translation UGA is an underachieving bunch of dipshits, who haven't won jackshit since Jimmy Carter was President. Yet another dipshit from Georgia.

By the looks of that, it's UGA and South Carolina that more often fail to live up to expectations.

For the 38th year in a row Georgia has not won a National Championship. I don’t think much has changed though still the same underperforming Georgia.

Georgia won in 2011.
Georgia won in 2012.
Georgia won in 2017.

Predicted 4 times. Won 3.
That is a delta of 1.

South Carolina failed to win any (delta of 2).
Tennessee failed to win any.
(Delta of 1).

I'd say that Georgia is doing alright.

Oops try again

We won in 2010, and was predicted twice

Thats a "delta" of one.

didn't stop them from winning the East twice when they weren't picked to win it. UGA has one more divisional title than Florida in that time span. Not sure what the OP is supposed to prove. That Florida exceeded expectations in 2015 and 2016? Or that UGA didn't meet them?

I thought we won the SEC several times since then.

Okay. If you 're looking for an argument on this point, you are looking in the wrong place.
