No one gives a shite about Oklahoma.

We don't care about your history. We don't care about your geography. We don't care that you think it's worth our time to learn about your shitty state. It's not. Go the frick back to your own boards. Thanks and GTFO.

Eastern Oklahoma is culturally pretty southern. But by the time you get past say, Shawnee, you're in the West. Overall I consider Oklahoma a western state, not a southern state.

Dude........I was born and raised in OK. Don't test me.

Let me throw you a lifeline so you can stop making a damn fool of yourself.

Geographically:
Oklahomans are the Great Plainsmen. We are part of the Great Plains, which is one of the largest geographical areas in the world. I posted a map for your educational purposes. We are not "the south", geographically.

Culturally:
OK was opened for settlement in 1889 by the federal government. As opportunity would suggest at the time, in 1889, farmers and ranchers from AR, MS, and LA were the majority of settlers that showed up to settle unlimited free land to raise their crops and cattle. They brought their culture with them. It exists to this very day.

SO.....yeah.....you'll run into many Okies that have a southern mentality because culturally they are, and always have been. Most of us are descended from that, myself included. My deceased father's family came up from LA. My mother's side were well-to-do cattle ranchers that came in from elsewhere of German heritage.

Summary: The Midwest is OH, IL, WI, MN, MI, MO, IN, and IA. That's it. That's the American Midwest. Missouri is the Midwest's furthest southern border. Always has been. OK is not, and never will be, part of the Midwest.

Oklahoma, geographically speaking, is part of the Great Plains. We are the Plainsmen. We were settled primarily by southerners from the old south. They brought their culture with them, as I said, and it exists to this very day.

Get it?

Google it, bitch. I'm not going to do your homework for you. I'm from there. Half of my own family is from LA.

Send kid to LSU where he'll learn to chant STTDB.

OR

Send kid to Aggieland where he'll actually STADB and spit into a jar...as a keepsake.

LSU fan can’t understand why thousands of people, including families with children, loudly chanting, “Suck that Tiger dick, bitch!” Is trashy.

Checks out.

Yall are offended by this chant, but have no problem with kids screaming to "take the quarterback out!" Or "Kill him!".

Nothing about our chant is wishing for someone to get hurt.

In fact, when you think about it, it a chant asking for the opponent to love on us.

So who are the real bad influencers here?

I have Googled it and have done plenty of reading about the land rush.

I've never heard anything that supports your claim that a majority of the settlers were from MS and LA.

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!

No you haven't. Stop lying. I'm an Okie born and raised. You're not.

You also said "Although if we're being technical, Okies are Midwesterners" which is entirely false. Did you "google" and do "plenty of reading" on that too? You didn't even know what you were talking about from a geographical perspective. You don't even know what the midwest is.

I actually have because I was intrested in the removal of Choctaw Indians from Mississippi to the Mccurtain County area in Southeastern Oklahoma.

Okie born and raised and you still havent supported your statement that Oklahoma was settled by a majority of Southern farmers.

Most of the country would consider Oklahoma to be a midwestern state whether its technically accurate or not.

Choctaw removal from MS has dick to do with the land run of 1889 and who the settlers were. You're just digging yourself in deeper talking to somebody from a state you know nothing about trying to tell ME who my state is, and that's laughable. LAUGH-A-BLE.

I don't give a rat's arse what most of the country "considers". "Teh Midwest" isn't the middle part of the country, simpleton. I rest my case.

No shite Sherlock, but upon reading about things such as that it inevitably leads to topics such as the land rush.

So knowledgeable yet still havent produced any evidence to back up your theory.

Telling your kids they might hear cussing at a college/nfl football game isn’t parenting advice, it’s common sense.

I give zero shits about what some rando internet dude (who oddly remembers shite from over ten years ago) thinks about me. Glad to hear you aren’t a jersey wearing frickboy

Homey......you're an idiot. I told you which states comprise the American Midwest. OK is not among them. It never has been. It never will be. The midwest is the great lakes states down to Missouri. It always has been. What you "consider" doesn't mean shite. What is factual and true, is what means shite.

Dis is da Midwest. Do you see OK in there?
