ND has a following (read $$$) that dwarfs UF (and most other schools) nationally.
What are they doing with it?
Serious question. Their facilities trail most SEC schools, they aren’t able to recruit as easily as most - due to academic restraints or otherwise, and their stadium is arse.

Florida needs to hire Jamey Chad well and call it a day. He has one of the most Innovative offenses in the game and that’s a proven winner in the uf playbook(spurrier, Meyer).

Sadly their facilities are still probably better than ours. Even UCF got an IPF before we did.
And they bend academic restraints for football players just like everywhere else.

To the surprise of no one, ND is still a better job than UF.
Take a look at the polls. A two-loss Notre Dame is a LOCK to make the CFP every year.

Riley didn't want to stay at oklahoma because they were joining the SEC, and you think hes a viable option, lol?

That may be true, but it’s not like he’s finding success in the Big ten either

Hell, they got their own deal with NBC.

We had a 10 year freeze on facilities and facility upgrades before Stricklin took over from Foley.
We won big under Spurrier and Meyer without spending a lot so enough of the old heads still have that mentality.

Nanduri is a Chicago guy.
He'll take any chance to post Freeman’s name for clicks.
FWIW

Lane was their 3rd call actually. There was one before Freeman but he also said no quickly.

If Lane wasnt their first call then they truly are stupid and that’s one hell of an indictment against their whole organization

This isn’t a shot at Florida, but ND is a much better job.
It’s a ridiculously easy path to the playoff every year, vs the gauntlet of the sec.
