What are you seeing that says this will be a double digit Florida win?

I've watched both teams play multiple times this season. You are acting like I'm ignoring this past weekend while you seem to be ignoring the other 6 weeks of the season. UF has a good defense as do we, and our defense held your offense to 10 points through regulation plus an overtime. UF's offense, at this point, seems to know wtf they're doing better than ours. We had 30 first downs, 470 yard of offense, and held the ball 36 minutes. If one were simply looking at the stat sheet it'd look like we won. The difference was we had 4 turnovers (one was for 7 points) to SC's 0. Call me crazy but I don't see the turnover battle going that way again in back to back weeks.

I've never once said that and you know it.

I'd say it isn't a stretch to claim that Carolina matches up with Florida better than Georgia does. Prove me wrong

And ftr, I'd feel the exact same way if we'd pulled one out in double overtime. The fact we lost the game has nothing to do with my thoughts on next weekend.

Say it again for those in the back!

Our starting QB went out in the third quarter and we STILL WON.

We don’t need to have 4 turnovers to beat Florida because I don’t think Florida is as good as UGA. I think we matchup better against them and our team play has improved drastically since the Missouri game after schematic changes.

You look at these teams in a static way and act like things can’t be moved around or switched to improve play. All we heard 2012 was how Georgia improved as the season progressed. IMPOSSIBLE for us to do the same simply because we’re South Carolina and they’re Florida.

because of our offense vs your defense. Your offense vs our defense wasn't producing anything. I believe that UF's offense will fare better than ours did. That's not a crazy prediction.

What does 7 years ago have to do with next week? You've let this go to your head, which I can't say I blame you for either. Never would I have thought that you of all people would become so unhinged by me predicting UF to beat SC by double digits, especially in a year when UF is in the top 10 and SC with multiple losses.

I used the game 7 years ago as reference...

Clearly.

I thought you knew me better than this. I’m having fun with this, the only difference is it’s at your expense for once.

I do think we matchup well with Florida and I think it’ll be a good game. I disagree about it being a double digit victory for UF, but no it’s certainly not impossible. Not even close.

We’re not on our 3rd string Qb lol

Starting 2019 QB - Jake Bentley - out for season
2019 2nd string QB - Ryan Hilinseki - injured vs UF "questionable"
2019 3rd string QB - Dakereon Joyner

I always knew the Carolina boys were a little slow, but damn baw you are a special kind of stupid!

You start with 1st string, after first string comes 2nd string and last but not least after 2nd string, comes 3rd string.

That should be Probable. He practiced today and every player said he looked fine.

QB Ryan Hilinski's knee is sprained, but he's expected to play vs. No. 9 Florida

Hilinski practiced today and is expected to start, sir.

You don’t rule out 2nd string until 2nd string is ruled out. Thanks for playing.

You better hope we beat Florida. Georgia is going to need all the help they can get to win the East with that ancient offense.

Florida can actually pass the ball at will against defenses that are you know, better than South Carolina's. Your strength is your run defense.

Proof:

Passing Touchdowns Allowed: 9

Rushing Touchdowns Allowed: 3

Our passing attack is our strength, and Kyle Trask + our receivers are probably the best you've seen since Alabama (500 yards of passing). Georgia plays into your strengths since their strength is running the ball. (11 - 15 Passing - Rushing touchdowns).

On the other side of the ball, your strength is rushing and our strength on defense has been rushing until the LSU game.

Before the LSU game, we held four out of six teams below 100 yards rushing.

Passing Touchdowns Permitted: 7

Rushing Touchdowns Permitted: 5 (3 vs. LSU, so 2 vs. five opponents)

In fact, one might argue that Muschamp's very conservative team is the perfect matchup for our passing offense-oriented team.

You guys beat Georgia, but Georgia is built for Muschamp -- low scoring, hoping to steal some points.

We're out for blood, we'll show you next week.

You sure typed a lot of words that could've easily been synthesized down to "we've played 2fcs teams and Tennessee. Check out these pro stats"

The intention of this thread was to have legit football conversation

Then if that's the case and the @ UGA game taught us anything .... stats don't matter.

I don't know what to expect Saturday.

I'm going to start drinking Bloody Marys around 8AMish and go from there.

I suspect Hilinski is still gimpy and Mullen is sandbagging on his two DEs .... and I expect nothing less from either of them.

This game is somewhat personal to Boom I dgaf how much he denies it.

State Fair is in town .... hopefully that will not discourage attendance when combined with the early kickoff and not a fricking hotel room to be had within a twenty mile radius. This is when I wish we hadn't sold our Lake Katherine house in Forest Acres.

shite ton of recruits are going to be there. Weather should be damn near perfect. SEC will, no doubt, send the worst ref crew they have in their shitty stable.

If SC plays well on defense, shuts down the running game and if our secondary is up to the task (because UF has better WRs than UGA) .... then we have a chance if we win the turnover battle.

Our offense just needs to be steady, no turnovers, STOP the incessant false starts and illegal procedure penalties. Protect Hilinski or Joyner or whomever and just don't make big back-breaking mistakes .... then we have a chance.

Florida knows your QB is gimpy! Yes I feel confident he will finish the game with Grantham on the other side!

You don't match up with us better than Georgia.

Missouri actually may match up with us better than both though...they really worry me
