Didn’t Florida have the same thing in 2014? I remember them shutting down our offense but we still scored four touchdowns against their offense and special teams.

Sad thing is Florida is so close. That defense is amazing. QB play needs to improve, as does playcalling it seems. I haven't watched a ton of Florida football this year - but damn that defense!

I've got some connections at UF and what those guys have been telling me matches up with something Josh Pate said on a podcast the other day.
If you go there and spend some time just observing, you'd find that its run just like Georgia or Ohio State. They are doing things the right way at a program level. They have really good players. I legitimately think just from a talent perspective they could go out and compete (not necessarily win, but compete) with any team in the country.
But it just doesn't come together on gameday. I think a big part of that is that Billy is a dogshit playcaller and just won't give it up. His hubris possibly did him in.

We are missing a proven OC that can call plays honestly. Billy is so easy to predict. Next game just guess what UF willl do each offensive snap

Insane I agree..you know why coaches like Smart, Urban, Saban, Day, etc hire cords and let them call plays? Because they are dumb and terrible coaches! Napier is far smarter than those guys and makes them all look like middle school coaches..ish
