Florida is currently scheduled to play FSU, Miami, UCF, and a 9-game SEC slate in 2024.
That's 12 Power 5 teams ladies and cucks. Although, some would argue that the Big 12 won't be a Power 5 conference once OU and Texas leave. I don't disagree with that, but the fact remains that this will be probably the most difficult regular season schedule to date.
Although I do have a feeling we're going to replace UCF or Miami with a cupcake -- time will tell.

Replace UCF with a cupcake? They are a cupcake.

As lame as our 23 schedule is, we play Colorado State, at Michigan, Oklahoma, UTSA + an 8 game SEC slate in 24.

The playoff committee really needs to learn how to appreciate strength of schedule. TCU should not have made it after they lost a game, their schedule is simply not challenging enough to be admitted with anything but a perfect record. Tennessee, Bama and LSU all had better claims. Until this is fixed teams are going to be incentivized to play weaker schedules.

This has happened a lot with Clemson and FSU. Play a cupcake schedule, stay healthy, win a championship because you play a better team, but they're beat up because they challenged themselves during the regular season.
We're probably going to see more success from the Big 12 and PAC 12's than we have in the past when it gets expanded to a 12 team playoff, all because they play a bunch of nobodies. But at least it'll sort itself out in an expanded playoff.

We play AT Utah this year and have future OOC road games scheduled.
But nice try.

I think the 12 team playoff will solve some of these issues.
1 SEC
1 B1G
1 Big 12
1 ACC
1 PAC
1 Group or 5
+ 6 open spots
I expect the SEC and B1G will take most of those 6 spots each year

I hope Napier’s recruiting is up to the challenge…

I like most of the expanded playoff except the automatic bid for a G5 conference. The only two halfway reputable G5 teams are now in the big 12. It’s not that much to ask (in relative terms to be ranked in the top 12), the deserving G5 teams won’t need the auto bid (ex. 2010 Bosie State), but instead we’re going to get a lot of underserving garbage teams taking up a spot

Yes, but the coffin won’t be able to hold your huge balls either - as they must be massive for that schedule.

Seriously, you got your butt spanked by S. Carolina.
Alabama shouldn't have lost two games on the final play, but I guess they might have some beef.
But you got your arse kicked. No, TCU belonged over you.
And it's incredible how people forget they WON THEIR FREAKING SEMIFINAL GAME against a team that was undefeated and had beaten Ohio State like a drum. Regardless of what happened a week later, TCU proved their spot was earned when they beat Michigan.

Coach can't be too happy about that schedule.

Uhhh no. Georgia beat two of those teams like rented mules. Alabama DID have a legit argument IMHO.

Which is why the SEC should stay at 8 games for now.

No problem. Just call Kirby and ask him how hard it was to get out of the Oklahoma game.
