Florida Gators plan to wear black uniforms and "black out" the Swamp this year

all 6 home games will have a theme to them to help draw what's left of their fans to the games.
Black uni's and black-out of the Swamp will be to honor the military (all for that!).
Let's hope the Gators don't get a black eye from their opponent to match their uniform.

Do you have a shot of the helmets? At any rate, I'm pro black unis but I wouldn't want to wear them early in the Swamp as hot as it gets there.

black unis are a fad that just won't die. Florida's regular uniforms look so much better.

Has UGA ever done a blackout again after that infamous Bama game? I mean it worked against Auburn and Hawaii the year before. 2/3 aint bad.

Eh their worst wasn't getting beat by BAMA that year (the funeral joke) but the terrible uni with those godawful helmets with the super wide stripe. Now that was terrible.

UGA is 6-1 in black jerseys and 4-1 against Top 25 in black jerseys

I'm not sure....that '07 game vs. Bama just spooked the heck out of us, I think.

Is UF-UGA still doing home jerseys for both teams or was that a one time thing? Uniform talk has me wondering.

I was asking a question because I don't know the answer. I remember them doing it against Auburn and then Hawaii in 07, then again in 08 against Bama. I don't remember them doing it again after said Bama game
