Florida fans: How many wins does Napier need to be safe this offseason?

3-2 right now and still have UGA, LSU, Mizzou and FSU on the slate. That means they’ll probably have to pull an upset to finish above last year’s 6-6 mark.
What total does he have to hit to keep his job for next year? Seems like he’s turning things around in recruiting, but it’s going to take a couple of years for that to start showing up on the field even with the portal.

Unless he loses to Vandy, I think he's safe this year. Depending on what changes he makes in the offseason will determine how hot his seat is going into year 3. Most fans want him to give up play calling, rightfully so, and potentially bring in someone with a different offensive scheme. Also, he needs to hire an on field ST coordinator.
As you said, he has recruited well which is promising. However, adjustments need to be made.

That’s interesting. The few games I’ve watched the past couple of years they seem to have OL deficiencies, mainly in pass-blocking, which to me makes it tough to gauge whether the problem is actually in the X’s and O’s vs. the Jimmies and Joes. Then again, I’m only watching a couple of games a year.

Yeah, that’s gotta get fixed lol. They’re the biggest ST mess I’ve seen in the SEC in a while.

He is safe this year, needs some changes in the off season or will be heavily questioned in 2024 if things don't improve.

I agree that if he beats Vandy he is safe. That is the only game on the schedule most fans think is an automatic win.
I think even if he does make a change at OC and things don't improve he will be getting heat. But I think we are pretty well positioned for 2024.
With our youth on both sides of the ball, I think we will have a very talented and battle tested roster. The one thing most fans of other teams don't seem to understand is that we have 1 senior starter and only 3 on the 2 deep.
I know the schedule is tough, but I think we should improve throughout the rest of the season and especially next year.

They would have to pony up 85% of is contract to get rid of him. Right now, that would be 32 million dollars. The kicker is they have to pay half of that within 30 days.

Stop already you do know how much the buyout is we will hold onto him atleast another year why are ga fans so worried about florida why don't you worry about you're offense

He will definitely have to hire a new offensive coordinator

So what if it isn't working since you hired so many people you keep going that's stupid you change things

He's recruiting great and its only year 2, you have to give him another year. If he was not recruiting and actively running off players and coaches like Harsin, you fire that arse.

This year isn't over. If UF shits the bed and the class drops out of the top 10, he's a dead man walking by the end of 2025. No coach will want to take that schedule for their first year.
