THey should love Billy. He's the best they're gonna have for a LOOOONG time.

No one else will want to touch that dumpster fire.

How the frick would I know? They don’t consult me.

I would have said no to the last 3 coaches.

It's like he thinks that the fans hire these retard coaches or something

Dan had 2 back to back bad years and was clearly on the down spiral.

This AND he more or less point blank said he wasn’t into recruiting and then more or less proved it.

Instead they had a rushed coach search and ended up with that cancer to programs known as Dan Mullen, which pretty much set the program back a decade.
That's why Scott Striklin should have zero to do with the next hire. The new AD should.

From your lips to God's Ears.

He followed up Mullen with Napier, that alone tells the story

They have been terrible since the fog thrown shoe game in 2020. Went from playoff contenders to 4 straight losing seasons, not just 2.

They still have Georgia, Texas, LSU and Ole Miss to play in November.

ETA 20-30 overall since the thrown shoe in 2020!!!

They ran a coach out of town who had one bad year yet took them to 3 straight NY6 bowls before that.

He hit his ceiling and awful recruiting was piling up. The hire ended up being bad, firing Mullen was not.
