I agree. You need to be quick this year. Florida state could very likely join too

BTW, its a stupid article, with no new information. Just some 'sports writer' who realized we have a bye week coming up.

Florida would look really embarrassing if they don’t fire him after Penn State made a move with twice the buyout

Well we have to check with you guys and see if you are ready to hire Napier yet, or gonna roll with Beamer Jr for another season?

Trying to shake the label of UF firing coaches too soon, which is BS.

They used buyout as an excuse then aTm and PSU pay buyouts $50MM+

They used the wait until he gets his own players excuse, then Cignetti and others show that is BS.

Fk Napier he's hillbilly idiot from the TN/GA mountains and should've never been hired by any SEC program.

LSU ignored his dumb arse because they knew better.

UF AD from Moo State aka Starkville Scott fell in love with the guy over a YouTube video where he said "excuse me" to someone on ULL campus.

Mullin is where he needs to be.

Had he stayed at State, he'd have a statue by the stadium when he retired.

Isn't his buyout $55mm? He already makes $8.3 mm and is 65 yo.

Call me crazy, I think Indiana gives him a mid--year raise and a new contract, and he stays at IU

He’s in his mid 60’s so how many next stops does the guy really have? And the fact that billionaire Mark Cuban is funding IU basketball and football now tells me that he’s probably going to stay in Bloomington

Franklins firing means Hugh and BIlly are dead men.

In that case, Cohen would definitely hire Franklin for top dollar.

Get ready for Coach Franklin Aubs.

An interesting name to watch is Mike Elko. Low buyout, "low" salary...

They should keep Napier. He's making progress and his players are playing hard for him.

Does the Oklahoma coach get fired if he doesn't make the playoffs ? What if OU loses 4 more games ?

It seems a shame that in this banner year of coaching searches, Tennessee will not be participating. Although I suppose it is always possible that Heupel drops dead from an obesity-related heart attack at any moment.

The Tennessee job opens if Vegetables gets fired and Oklahoma hires Heupel. If Oklahoma loses to SC this weekend, it might happen sooner than later.

I'm not even sure Florida plays enough bad teams to get that many bad losses.

They've only lost to ranked teams, and they have a win over a ranked team, #21 Texas. They have losses to #2 Miami, #4 Texas A&M, #10 Texas A&M and #19 USF.

Penn St has 3 losses, one to a ranked team and 2 others to bad teams. Hell, UCLA fired their coach they were so bad.

Maybe if Florida loses to Miss St or Kentucky? Otherwise, Florida still has Georgia, Ole Miss, Tennessee and Florida St. Miss St isn't terrible, but they should win that.

Florida St could be a nail in the coffin game for sure. They aren't doing well at all and if they lose that, I don't see how he could survive that.

That's the crazy part, Florida isn't that bad, they just aren't good enough for their schedule either. They are basically going to play 8 ranked teams, and they've only played 1 non-ranked(currently) game all year.

Now that I said this, they will fire him tomorrow.
