Probably would have helped if the refs called any sort of fouls and had any sort of control of the game. No excuse for what he did, but this would have helped. The guy was holding the piss out of Payne and they never called fouls for this, so he was frustrated.

I call BS. I've been watch college basketball since before Eddie Sutton was our coach. And that was as dirty as I've ever seen. Mr. Payne should not be allowed to step on the court again in college.

I’m visiting my family in Georgia so I didn’t see the game but generally the games where the refs swallow their whistles are the games Tennessee loses. They are not a physical team at all. Games called tight generally are games Tennessee blows folks out. Goes with playing good close D and having a bunch of mid range jump shooters.
