Why wouldn't Ole Miss get GameDay?

I'm just messing around. It'll be cool if they do Gameday on the Grove. It'll make the Rebel tears that much more delicious. At this point we need something to make this series enjoyable.

I'll be surprised if it is a game in the 3rd quarter. More like 43-10 Bama...

It might still be close at halftime, but the UF offense will not be able to do much against 'Bamas defense and by the end of the 3rd quarter the UF defense will be gassed. Alabama will run away with it late.

We are ranked third in defense stats in SEC..small sample size...but who the frick has Bama actually played????? No one. Fla Atlantic and Southern Piss are two of the worse teams in the country...period.

Its going to be Bamas defense that's gassed in 4th qt. Their offense will be a three and out machine. UF may have given up passing yds to UK...but our run game defense is pretty damn good. Ask Towles the UK qb what he thinks of Dante Fowler....he will unbutton his shirt to show a #6 tattoo on his chest.

In theory, this is the first game against a good team either has played. WVU has a pulse and maybe UK does as well. I'm not sold on Gators yet but they have a small sample size, and the reality is Bama could be a really good team and no doubt they are and still lose three regular season games. Not picking on Bama, there is going to be teams in the SEC West that finish 3-5, 4-4, in the division that would be major players on the national scene if they played in any other conference.

This game is an enigma to me. We just don't know how good/bad the teams Bama and Florida played are.

One thing I know- Florida has an offense capable of scoring points now, and responding to adversity in a positive way. It has playmakers in Robinson, Jones, Taylor and Debose.
The question are-
1. Will the secondary get better after being torched in 5 plays for significant yardage. I think Boom has coached well in the past, and there is talent. We shall see how better they get in a week.
2. Will our OL give Dris time, or will they let Bama hurt him?

By the third quarter, Driskel will get that deer in the headlight look again, same as he had the last time we played when Brantley went down. It'll be close for a while, but I think Bama wins it 38-17.

I still remember that look and knew in that moment we had a mediocre QB to look forward to; not that Brantley was anything special.

I don't see this being low, unless Bama gets a lot of guys hurt. There is just waaaay too much talent on the offensive side of the field for Alabama this year - regardless of QB. I'd say it is the most talented skill area (RBs, WRs, TEs) Saban has had in his years there.

If anything, it will be close, but in the high 20s or low 30s. Florida may have some success throwing the ball, heck, everyone else has. I was thinking 35-24/31-27, something like that.

To beat Bama, Driskel will need to throw for 275 with no interceptions.

That ain't happening.

Which is why they suspended Bama's starting Safety for the first half

This. Bama is too good, has the best players, too much tradition, the best fans and too much of a home field advantage. UF has no shot unfortunately. Saban is 50x the coach that Boom ever hopes to be. Boom is just a Saban wannabe.

No way we score 13. It could be a tough game for a while but i think we wear them down at the end!

I agree. Bama offense is a trainwreck and bubble screens won't work against UF's stout D.

UF won't score much on Bama D either. It'll be a low scoring cripple fight with Bama winning at the end.

He is averaging 271.5 ypg and has 1 interception on the year...

Our defense, on the other hand, has allowed 207 ypg (Bama has allowed 220) and has generated 4 interceptions in 2 games (Bama has 0)
