Nevada hasn’t played well lately and they only played 3 games against tournament teams all year.
Let’s not forget they were behind double digits in each of their two tournament wins last year to even get to the Sweet 16.
UF is much more battle tested at this point with the non conference and conference schedule it played.

I've supported UF basketball in up years and down years. Pretending Hudson and Allen are actually reliable shooting alpha dogs wouldn't make be a better fan. If I wanted to overhype my team and make constant excuses, I'd cheer for LSU.

Forever thinks all UF coaches can't be protested against when doing poorly. They are paid to be here. Bashing players is one thing l, especially on social media directly too them is insane and horrid. Paid millionaires you see as underachievers is quite different. Part of the job is scrutiny when you dont perform up to your pay check.
Either way. Nevada haven't seen them play much. No clue how we match up overall outside of kenpom and Massey's numbers. Hopefully we win. The BPI has us within margin of error range so that's good.

The frick? I literally coached it for five years. I can assure you I know enough to see good and bad coaching. Not a claim I'd be better. I wouldnt. But White has continuously failed at certain aspects during his tenure. Specifically the last two years. Last year was very concerning. He had a team capable of scoring 90 at any point, that was successful in uptempo, fast paced games. What did he do post Duke? Made us a deliberate half court team. We didn't use our strengths last year and it was very obvious(and pointed out many times from commentators so I'm not the only one). This year same issues plagued us. Stagnant offense without ball movement. I can understand players slumping, bad shooting nights, etc. The issue wasn't this. It was the offense itself is very unimaginative.
White is great at defense, recruiting, and calling plays out of timeouts. His struggle is development and offensivegame planning. Problem is. Those two struggles will never win titles here.
I want UF to compete for titles every few years. Can't see it with White. He is good, but not good enough for UF. Especially with how good coaching is in the SEC now.

This is so false.
I was critical of Muschamp, but at least he took us to the brink of making the BCS National Championship. He was a likable guy, and I was one that wanted him gone after the 4-win season.
I never liked McElwain. Used car salesman type. Never accomplished anything (I don't count backing into two SEC East championships).
Stop deflecting. This is about basketball. You have zero clue what you're talking about. Please do not watch the game today. I don't want idiots calling for the coach's head cheering for a team in the tournament.
