Thanks for your response. So academically, he is a senior. In the first semester of his third year on campus. Must have knocked out some summer credits or gotten AP credit.

We don’t really talk academic stuff here. Every school would have their own ring requirements. I don’t know any other school’s system or what their rings look like.
I was always under the impression that not every school pushes kids to get graduation rings.

So is the requirement 95 credit hours already obtained? That's a healthy amount of credits for a student in the first semester of his third year on campus.

When you have 90 credit hours you can order your ring. Of course ordering involves paying for it. I have no idea how much they are now with the rise in the price of gold.
