Who will be the first SEC team to implement the power spread style of offense tOSU, And OU have nearly perfected? We are talking a somewhat mobile QB with big physical RBs instead of the traditional scat backs spread teams normally use combined with pro size offensive lines rather than the smaller pass protection linemen you see with the faster spread teams. I think a team like LSU could plug a decent QB in and run a power spread style with great success. Thoughts?

Pretty sure Florida somewhat invented the power spread with Tebow. Also, do you know who Gus Malzahn is?

Oklahoma would get eaten alive by Bama's front seven.

frick the power spread. From 2008-2012, Alabama was the God of the power run/play action offense. Power spread is for pussies.

OU is still is a air raid team. Your back(can't spell his name off top) and Baker Mayfield have helped bring balance back your offense that has been missing since Landry Jones has been gone.

I predict that in 2005 we will see it implemented and that eventually a Heisman winner will be running the show somewhere.

Yea I suppose you could make a case for Florida in 08 and they obviously had great success. Just seems like so many teams still try and throw that pro style power run offense at teams built to defend it.

Lincoln Riley runs the Air Raid, he's only included some power running because of Perine.

OU in no way shape or form runs the same offense as Baylor, Ohio State, Clemson, etc.

frick off. You know nothing about football, much less the SEC.

I guess you weren't watching football when Tebow was playing at Florida.
