First Playoff Ranking of 2022 comes out on Tuesday

Who should that team be?
Well... if Tennessee wins by 2 scores or more, it has to be Tennessee
Don't care what Georgia does or what Ohio State does. Based on body of work, it can only be Tennessee.
Any disagreements? If so, you should also enter a "why".

Yes. Georgia. Until someone beats them, they’re the defending champs and have a top 10 win on their resume also. Even if it was Bo Nix, it still is on record as such.

Georgia, Tennessee, and OSU all have arguments
Georgia should be #1 based on beating the #7 and #25 team by a combined 87 points with both games away from home.
Tennessee should be #1 based on having the highest ranked win and blowing out a good LSU team
Ohio St should be #1 based on them having zero struggle wins unlike UGA and Tennessee who both have two each

You’re arguing about something that doesn’t matter. They’re both in the top 4 regardless and it’ll work itself out very soon. UGA would top my list until Tennessee beats them.

Hey, I'd love to see anyone beat UT but I'm being objective here, based on body of work, I have to give the initial playoff committee #1 spot to Tennesee. They've earned it

While the committee talks about various metrics, it really comes down to the eye test.
If UGA looks dominant against UF and OSU looks dominant against PSU... it really won't matter what UT does. UT's had too many games where they've won but done so by small margins. (Pitt, UF, Bama). UGA and OSU only have one game like that. They simply look to the eye like better teams... and will likely end up ranked ahead of UT if all of them win by big margins this weekend.

I don't know who will be numbers one through four, but based on past years Notre Dame will be number five.

I think (believe) Georgia will be #1, but you think us beating Oregon was better than UT beating Alabama?
Technically, maybe because it was by a lot of points and Oregon is ranked pretty high....but lets face it. Oregon is not as good as Alabama and is probably not even close to Alabama.

UGA has two top 25 wins (1 top 10) and their margin of victory against power 5 teams is vastly superior.
