Making the WCWS isn’t a big deal when you rarely sniff the championship series. This year we were gifted a five seed overall. No way Alabama was a top five team.

I look at what Auburn did with Clint Myers. Yeah he was a shitty person but he ran circles around Murphy. In a lot of ways the decline started at that point. It’s not like it matters though. OU is on another level and that won’t slow down any time soon.

Just for reference, when is the last time women's softball had more losses than the baseball team? Slap hitting doesn't = wins in this version of women's softball.

We missed a Bailey Hemphill type hitter. Yes, we had some that would hit HR's but Bailey hit with power most games.

How do you have an outdated offense in softball?

Just hit the damn ball.

Slap hitting is no longer an effective offense. Oklahoma is showing that power hitting is the way forward. Murphy is stuck in the slap-hitting phase.

Idk why I didn’t think of that.

Makes total sense.

UT softball ain’t beating OU.

The only team that had a chance to beat OU in this Tournament was Stanford, due to that pitcher they had. They were lucky enough to get a run off of her and won. OU won’t be losing to anyone else. That’s some corn fed girls!

It’s still unreal dude doesn’t get more shite for this … what coach accepts an offer from a school, shows up, meets the team, holds a press conference, then runs back to his old team and they just welcome back with open arms?

Someone will have to explain to me the difference between an “outdated” offense and a new age offense in softball or baseball. Isn’t this why baseball is dying? The game has practically no strategy. Its analytics driven roster management and then a whole lot of luck, with the slightly better teams gradually separating themselves in wins over the course of a very long season.

I'd love to know what The University of Alabama did to literally consume Wee Willie's perception of college athletics. They've made a basket-case out of him...sad.
