I think he gets one more year. But if he doesn't produce with the upgrades in facilities then I hope he never gets a HC gig again.

This would/will actually make a huge difference for OM basketball IMO. The Tad Pad is terrible

Rod Barnes made a sweet 16 but also had 4 straight losing seasons, does that make him a better coach than AK who has never made the tourney or had a losing season either ?
No, it does not make him a better coach. Barnes deserved to be fired too. That doesn't make AK a good coach either though. When the bar was set so low in the first place it doesn't take much to be the all-time winningest coach.
I'm not expecting to be a national championship contender, but after 7 years I think it's pretty reasonable to want more from a coach than 20 wins and finishing near the middle of a bad basketball conference and 0 tournament appearances.

Ole Miss will get there with Kennedy IMHO.

That's the renderings of our new arena. I like the natural light.

Without question, new facilities would help OM basketball a great deal. It doesn't fix the lack of coaching that has plagued us though

AK is Ole Miss' all time winningest HC
This says more about the history of Ole Miss basketball than it does about Kennedy being a decent coach.

Have you checked out what Auburn, Arkansas, Georgia, South Carolina, Alabama, and LSU have done the past 5-6 years? Heck even throw State in there one tourney appearance since 2007

Yes still raising funds. Forward together dot com is the website I believe. It lists our giving so far with the thresholds for each upgrade.

That's proving my point even farther. The SEC is terrible and we still can't win enough in conference games to make the tournament. AK is below .500 in conference

I'm not trolling I'm a fan of Andy Kennedy and his staff. A buddy of mine was a GA there a few years back and introduced me to AK, Billy Armstrong and other staff guys. I have liked them and pulled for them to be successful since.
I'm a fan of Mississippi basketball in general. Even Southern Miss

You could give us Kentucky's facilities and Indiana's team and we'd probably make the tournament but we'd be the most unorganized, ugly playing team thanks to our coaching
