I'm beginning to think your post are negative towards LSU and the compliments you give LSU are not sincere, and honestly seem backhanded.

Love to know how Duke finished #4 when they needed an amazing amount of luck just to reach the sweet 16 and then barely squeaked by Va Tech in the Elite 8. Whereas Auburn beat #4 Kansas in a blowout, #1 UNC in a blowout, #2 Kentucky, and lost to the National Champs by 1 on a controversial call.

because this isn't a ranking of how teams played in the NCAA tournament maybe?

Duke went 32-6, only 1 of their losses was to an unranked team. 4 of their 6 losses were to top 10 teams.

Auburn went 30-10 with several losses to unranked teams, almost half of them in fact. Oh, and that pesky loss..to duke.

Duke being ranked ONE spot above AU is perfectly rational. People are just flipping out becuase AU's last 4-5 games they were the hottest team in the country while duke skirted by.

I seriously don't know, he's probably in College Station working on a staff, I assume he's left Va and his wife(if he's not gay?)might be gathering things at his old home

Wade has remained in Baton Rouge

That's all I know on both questions

Thank You Auburntiger. I hope you got see Auburn participate in the basketball game here in January, a short drive from your home. Congrats on a fantastic run to the Final Four.

This is a decent rating and we were only 2 points behind Duke. We proved we can play with anyone. If your not first, does not matter if you are 4th or 5th...

From 5 seed in the tournament to #5 is not bad

Some of the context seemed off. Let's not forget about the good down home Texas values of life..even out there on the WestCoast

exactly, to complain about it is ridiculous looking at the full body of work for both. And it's still a "top 5 finish" which is a great feather in the cap that AU can advertise and celebrate. I mean honestly what would change by being ranked 4th instead of 5th? Nothing. Just like there's no difference in a post-bowl season ranking from 8th to 9th.

They are salty that LSU’s 7th-best season in school history would be Texas A&M’s greatest season in school history.

They can frick right off with that BS. Auburn lost by 1 to the eventual National Champ in the Final Four.

And Duke beat Virginia twice this season.
And Duke beat Auburn this season.

Duke: 32-6, 14-4 in the ACC
Auburn: 30-10, 11-7 in the SEC

The final AP pool was before the tournament.

except other than Duke and Auburn, #9-16 were eliminated in the Sweet 16, #5-8 were eliminated in the Elite 8, #3-4 eliminated in the final four, Tech finished #2, and UVA #1. If it wasn't a ranking of how teams played in the tournament, then Texas tech wouldn't have finished #2 and UNC wouldn't have finished #9. Wofford wouldn't have finished #18, Buffalo wouldn't have finished #17, Orgeon wouldn't have finished #21, etc.

Let's just call a spade and spade and say that Duke got Duke treatment, per usual.

remember like three years ago when A&M won the conference, went to the conference tournament championship, entered the tournament as a 3 seed, and made it to the sweet 16?
