No, this isn't in the same stratosphere as players having pictures made in front of cars. This is coaches, talking, openly, about offers. The ncaa hasn't brought the hammer down on anybody since usc in 2009. If they don't do it after this. To Arizona and lsu, then they don't want to and we all need to be paying like hell.

eh, it's every bit as dirty in the end, it just doesn't start as much when kids are in middle school like basketball does. Any college sport that generates the kind of money football does with the pressure to win big now, I can assure you is dirty AF all around

The main difference is that in football, athletes have to go through college to get to the pros. They are essentially getting an education in being a football player.
That and the NCAA has less of a stake in football so doesn't care if enforcing the rules hurts Bama, Ole Miss, or whoever. The NCAA is clearly squemish when it comes to doing something that affects March Madness viewership. For god's sake, look at this whole COVID-19 situation. The NCAA didn't want to cancel and conferences basically had to pressure them into doing it.

That wasn't about any player that ever played for LSU and it was clearly a joke. The stuff after that was much worse especially when Wade said he had done deals in the past.

Glad to see that a good portion of LSU fans in here who aren't spouting the company lines "Wade did nothing wrong" and "there's no proof," which are both obviously bullshite
You guys can claim that everyone cheats and that you'd rather keep a cheater who's winning than go back to losing righteously, but the fact that Wade was sloppy and brazen enough to get caught on tape like this should demonstrate that Wade is too much of a liability to be HC.
Not like you guys have been NC contenders with him, anyway -- acknowledging that LSU can only win by brazenly cheating is diminishing the potential of LSU basketball imo
