The issue with Florida is the UAA, that negates many good qualities about the job

And yet few schools can match UF this century. Must be something pretty good about the job to foster that level of success.

At the end of the day, if some of these other schools truly have that much money and that much support, then why aren't they producing?

Correct, but that doesn’t mean the job is as desirable to coaches as the ones above it.

That’s a good question. No final fours, and I believe had a pretty poor stretch of play until Barnes revived them

Not really. A few mediocre years. Been consistently good since Jerry Green. This list is based on coach perception of the job, so money, fan/admin support, facilities are the driving force.

WTF..Texas is not even in the top 5...not even close..

It's just the default now on any job rankings now to put the Texas schools high...it could be women's archery...doesn't matter if they've never actually done anything.

got it, I just assumed it might’ve been worse because sometimes I’ll
Read vol fans arguing over Barnes and some of his bigger fans (or defenders if someone is criticizing) makes it sound like the program was in shambles before he took over

I completely agree

Just imagine what we’d do as an athletic department if the UAA weren’t filled with cheap incompetent dip shits

the UAA is cheap and tries to railroad successful coaches, particularly in football and men’s basketball

Texas has higher potential than them.

I disagree with number 2 but not close to top 5? Brand new world class facilities, less pressure as a football
School, nil and resources (jury is out of we actually use those resources), nba pipeline, no natty but one of the winningest and most successful programs to never win it all.

I'd say we are at best 4-5 but most likely 5-6.

Traditionally not a great baskeball place

UF not #2 or at least top 3 is a joke.

An absurd ranking. To not have UF top 3 is absolutely insane. One of the most successful programs in nationally pre and post NIL going on 30 years now. Field of 68 up to their normal rage baiting
Agreed. We are obviously going to be the #1 job, but I feel like Florida, Tennessee, Arkansas, and Alabama are the next schools on this list and not necessarily in that order.
