I remember this game. How the hell do you give up 119 yards but 44 fricking points.

Extra note on this one:
This is the only SEC conference game since 2009 in which a team out-gained its opponent by 250+ yards but still lost.

There have been a total of 8 other instances among Power 5 teams since 2009, SEC teams were on the winning side in 3 of those - 2017 South Carolina vs NC St and 2017 Tennessee vs Georgia Tech... and of course 2016 Vandy.

Power 5 teams are 852-8 when out-gaining opponents by 250+ yards since '09.

offfff seassssssonnnn woooooo

Hester caught that ball and fumbled. It was a first down.

That game was so weird. The whole time I just kind of assumed that UGA would eventually score a TD or 2 and pull away, just based on how each team was moving the ball. Then the game just sort of ended without that ever happening.

That Florida State game was just absolutely brutal.

Didn't we have 3 picks off Crab Legs but were still losing like 7-6 at halftime? fricking Muschamp, man. My god.

Sadly that's not the only time that has happened...and it was also Florida doing it the other time.

Didn't Georgia Southern beat Florida while Muschamp was there and GSU didn't have any yards passing?

119 yards and 42-13 is pretty much unbelievable. You’re talking about scoring a point for every 2.8 yards gained. That has to be, if not the highest point to yard ratio in the history of football, pretty damn close. At that rate, Oklahoma would’ve averaged just over 200 points last year.

I like how there's one official taking a nap at the 1 yard line in that image with 2 Florida players blocking each other.

Just outside the timeframe, but Auburn 3 Mississippi State 2.

MSU had 116 yards.

Auburn had over 300. Which is kinda amazing in itself.

I think it would only have counted had Miss State won. Although that could have happened.

And it seemed like so much less than 300 yards.

omehow we destroyed a top 10 Georgia team in our next game.

UF fans sure are interesting. UGA losing by 18 is getting destroyed but losing to UGA by 21 is a close game.
