Hard to have a losing season when you played in the Big Eight where it was the two of them, occasionally Colorado, even less frequently Missouri, and Kansas, K State pre-Purple Wizard, Iowa State, and Okie Lite. Hoover High School would have a winning record in that league.
This post perfectly sums up your ignorance. The sec was literally Alabama and TN, until the 2000s with the occasional FL/UGA success. OU has played nebraska and TX every year for many decades and both of them have more NCs than anybody else in the SEC. Their sos is second to nobody.

Big 6.
The SEC has been the deepest conference in the last half century.

In that same time span Nebraska, TX, OU, and Colorado all won NCs...not just conference titles

Georgia and Florida play in the weak SEC East. Big nothing burger.
Am I doing it right?

8. LSU - 5 - 1956, 1975, 1981, 1983, 1989
the 1990s did not exist
the 1990s did not exist

Good try but CU won it in 1990 and Texas wasn't in the Big 8. If they were, your point would hold value but because of your two ignorant mistakes nobody will ever listen to your opinion on here again.

Colorado, Texas, and Nebraska did not win national championships in the 1980s.
However, if you are referring to 1980-Present, Georgia, Alabama, Florida, Tennessee, LSU, and Auburn have all won national championships in that time frame.

It's also inaccurate. Of the teams he listed, only Oklahoma won a national championship in the 1980s.

Bruhh, don't be mad LSU's whole existence has been a losing record except for like 10 years. Nick Saban says You're Welcome.

Wrong, the post was in reply to OU having an easy path to National championships, not the big 8 itself. OU in fact played Texas, CU, And Nebraska every year to get to those NCs. Also notice my post said "timeframe" hence we were talking about the 70s/80s/90s not JUST the 80s. The point is from the 70s-90s OU played a more impressive SOS than Alabama or TN did.

In the 1980's only Oklahoma won a national title out of that Group.
Nebraska's titles were 1971, 1994, 1995, and 1997
t.u.'s titles were 1963, 1969, and 2005 (1970 is illegitimate)
Colorado's was a shared title with Georgia Tech in 1990
1980's (1980-1989) National Champions
1980 - Georgia
1981 - Clemson
1982 - Penn State
1983 - Miami
1984 - BYU
1985 - Oklahoma
1986 - Penn State
1987 - Miami
1988 - Notre Dame
1989 - Miami

Nope, the post you replied to specifically said the 80s and you responded with your ignorant post. As many others have pointed out, only OU won a title in the 80s. The decade that you originally responded too. You're wrong, face it.

For someone of your age and football knowledge I find this amusing
Both the BIG and PAC 12 have been far from one university conferences
Calling either one of them one pretty much means you can say the same thing about the SEC
PAC 12
2000's Oregon and Stanford
1990's 1980's Washington
1970's 1960's UCLA
Point being all PAC 12 universities have played in either a BCS bowl game or a Group of 6 besides Cal
Cal was screwed out of the 2005 Rose Bowl by Mack Brown or it would have been all 12 universities
Not to mention USC's annual game versus ND
BIG
All following universities have been Top 10 for multiple seasons
Michigan St
Minnesota
Iowa
Wisconsin
Penn State
