Jay Jacobs is on employment death row and everyone seems to want Gus gone...We are about to 86 the AD AND the HC in the same year?
Who will be a REALISTIC replacement for both and what kind of expectation do you have for 2018 if this happens?
We have to remember, in 2013 there was nowhere to go but up. And we open 2018 with Washington in Atlanta

Jay Jacobs is a complete fricking moron and his constant hand out of contract extensions to Gus early is the only reason why Gus is still at AU.
Gus's resume is all that needs to be said as why his bed shitting arse needs to be gone.

Agree, Keep Gus and win 7 games again next year?
Hell with that, anyone we hire can win 7 games at AU. Gus has proven he is a 7-8 win coach at AU and that doesn't cut it for me. I don't expect 13-1/14-0, but there is no reason we can't get double digits wins on a consistent basis.
I will say....Jacobs must be fired before any move on Gus.

Expecting to win 10 games is Bama envy?
I don't understand why people always says this. I can't speak for other fans, but I don't compare Auburn to Bama. I know they have the best program in the nation, so nobody should compare themselves to them. I don't.
I know we have a top 10-15 program and what we are getting in the last three years doesn't match.

Nothing screams dumpster fire like firing both the ad and the head coach at the end of the season. Good luck finding a decent HC who is going to walk into that situation with zero knowledge of who his future boss in the athletic dept. is going to be. You either fire Gus and let JJ and his abysmal track record do the hiring or you fire JJ and keep Gus around for another year. Doing both would torpedo a program that already has enough issues.
