My larger point, the forest if you will, was that Kirby Smart was overrated at #6. I made a number of points explaining why I think that.

I think the writers are falling victim to a recency bias and are patronizing Georgia fans. I think they are foolish to judge a man off of such a single remarkable season and an otherwise small body of work.

As a subpoint to that I said that 2017 wasn’t all nearly as impressive objectively as Georgia fans might like to believe. Because of the Auburn loss, the weakness of the East, and what I called “Luck” but could have easily called fortune or something else far more acceptable.

I’ve continually said that my use of that word is in a general sense rather than a specific one but that word has driven you crazy and now you have focused on a subpoint of a subpoint to argue about, which I’ll admit is arguable, and claimed victory because my use of that particular word is arguable.

That’s approaching dangerous levels of austism and I use that word earnestly. It shows an incredible amount of scrutiny on a small detail while neglecting the larger issue and a complete inability to take anything someone says beyond its immediate and literal meaning. It’s actual autism and I don’t think I want to engage with it.

Welp, Saban has all time wins, conference titles, Natty titles over Dabo.

Why the confusion?

David Shaw too high

Jimbo probably too high too.

All time he’s one of the few active coaches with a ring, but he’s hasn’t had a great season in a while.

What dabo is doing at Clemson is more impressive than what saban is doing at bama

It’s freaking Clemson. And they are on par with bama. Just think of that

You’ll see.

I know some people who know some people who once sat next to me at a Benihana that have a lot of information of the ins and outs of the shady stuff they do up there.

A long with hump sheep and their sisters

Dabo is a better coach than Saban based on personality alone.

i don't understand this logic. if a college in tuscaloosca can win national titles, why does it seem crazy a college in Clemson could win titles. lol

Kelly is too high based on UCLA and just overrated 8n general

Scott Frost? Really? Hype is a horrible drug. Have to win at a major school before being put on a list like this. Its like having Kiffin on the list.

You want to talk about How long has he coached? I don’t really feel strongly about it. Yes, it’s a short tenure. Low quantity of seasons. Oh well. Not a big deal If you feel that way. You should have stopped there.

So why do they respect Kirby? It’s no small detail as you claim. High quality: 2017 and 2018. Yes, I do enjoy pointing out the massive holes in your reasoning about our success in 2017, but let’s add in 2018 as well. It was just a continuance of that high quality of overall play we saw in 2017.

Objecitively, compared on a national scale, Our program has been pretty damn good under smart without needing luck. We aren’t perfect, but We have been well prepared and developed. Nothing factually or logically supports your claim of the importance of fortune or luck or whatever you want to call it. That’s just a story you made up in your head.
