Since it’s the last year on CBS, I thought I’d list my favorite games over the years. LSU had three of them in 2007 alone.

LSU vs Arkansas (2006)
LSU vs Auburn (2004)
Alabama vs LSU (2011 defensive war)
Iron Bowl 2008
Iron Bowl 2013 (Kick Six, but still a phenomenal game)
Alabama vs LSU (2015)
Arkansas vs Ole Miss (2015, Hunter friggin Henry)
Alabama vs Texas A&M (2013)
SEC Championships (2009, 2012, 2018, 2020)
LSU vs Florida, Kentucky and Arkansas (2007)
LSU vs Arkansas (2006)

Probably something from when Sean McDonough was still with CBS. I'll go with #1 FSU @ UF in 97.

2001 UT vs UGA and those Arky/LSU games were memorable especially since they were on Friday after Thanksgiving.

2011 LSU Bama is hard to top.
The intensity was insane.

The game when Georgia sent their whole team out to celebrate against Florida was awesome

Nothing to add to this other than saying I hate that we missed the CBS window. Nothing was and is like that CBS production value of the SEC games. Love it when it hits the air and that CBS theme song starts playing.

09 LSU- jevan snead ( RIP) just throwing darts
14 bama- the endzone interception… that place ERUPTED and stormed the field
About the only 2 in recent memory worth a flip

2003 UGA LSU is an all timer.
Loudest I’ve ever heard Tiger Stadium.

Production value was incredible. Really made those games a spectacle.
I’m gonna miss it big time.

One of those games where I actually remember where I was watching it. At a party in Austin and it was being projected onto a big white sheet outside, and everyone was conflicted due to wanting Alabama to lose, but not to A&M.

The game was so good that everyone was zoned in the entire time, yet having no idea who to cheer for.

I saw the recording of the game later because I was at the game, but the 2007 UGA- Auburn game was an absolute symphony- "lingerie on the field" indeed.
To be honest, 2007 may still be my favorite year, despite it all. Nobody wanted that smoke by the end of the year. Too bad, it took Richt challenging the team at the Cocktail Party to find its full potential after the two losses.
