Fans of Cock: why did Beamer fire the OC after last season?

I have no idea, I am seriously asking.
You end last season by scoring 62 points against Tennessee, 31 against Clemson and 38 against Notre Dame. Spencer Rattler looks like a first round pick again all of a sudden, and then Beamer decides that he needs a new offensive coordinator.
Beamer has forgotten more about football than I'll ever know and I'm sure there's a reason. So what is it?

Satterfield is awful. Did you see his brilliant offense at Nebraska this past week? Pretty sure I heard he had his role diminished after that Florida game and suddenly South Carolinas offense exploded.

He got fired after Florida. The reason we started scoring against Tennessee/Clemson/notre dame is because Beamer changed the way the offense worked

You really think Satterfield called those games?
Our average points scored vs P5 opponents before TN: 20.7
Our average points scored in the last 3 games vs TN/Clem/ND: 44.0

I've heard two different stories on what changed after the Florida game. One, is that a big part of Shatterfield's problems was that he was trying to roll out with 20+ different personnel packages. He got limited to 4-6 and only the ones that kept the playmaker on the field.
The other rumor is that he got the play calling duties taken from him altogether, though I have no idea who was calling it in his place.

Per Thamel, South Carolina "made a strong push to keep Satterfield."
Fans widely called for the second-year offensive coordinator to be fired after the team lost 23-10 to Missouri and 38-6 to Florida, but the Gamecocks (8-4, 4-4 SEC) rebounded with two of their best offensive performances to end the season on back-to-back upsets over then-No. 5 Tennessee and No. 8 Clemson.
"What a fighter he is, and he'll be the first to tell you we didn't coach well enough in the Florida and the Missouri game," Beamer said of Satterfield after the win at Clemson. "That is a fantastic defense we just played ... We knew it was going to be tough and ugly at times ... and Satt did a great job."

He’s not gonna publicly say his best man is trash

He most likely did. There's several competing rumors, and nothing has been or can be confirmed. But, the prevailing concept is that Beamer removed play calling duties from Satt after the Florida debacle. The offense in the last three games was so night-and-day different from the previous two seasons, that it's disingenuous to think that the light suddenly came on.
Watching Satt at Nebraska last week (yes, I watched the whole thing), confirmed that he wasn't involved for the last games last year. Nebraska lacked ID, focus, or any semblance of simplicity.
Beamer *should* have publicly fired him, to remove all doubt. But, it's likely he gave Satt time to get picked up in Lincoln once his BFF Rhule got hired.

The 247 insiders said Beamer told him after Florida that he wouldn’t be resigned after the season. And it’s a fact they reduced the personnel packages from 19 to 5 for Tennessee onwards. There’s a video from the Clemson game during the final 3rd down conversion where you see the players tell Satterfield what play to call (throw it to juice)

As others have said, Satt was told he would not be retained after the Florida fiasco. Not only were personnel groupings reduced but his extremely large playbook was also significantly reduced. I also watched the whole Nebraska game and it seems that Satt has learned nothing.
