Texas has turned its 4-0 start into the biggest average TV audience in college football, as the Longhorns lead Nielsen's list of the most-watched teams of the 2026 season through Week 4.

Texas 9.038 million viewers per qualifying game
LSU 7.623 million
Wisconsin 7.421 million
Ohio State 6.960 million
Ole Miss 6.235 million, round out the top five.

I posted in another thread ESPN's strategy on putting a marquee game in the early time slot to compete with Fox's Big-Noon Game.

Get the audience early and hold them the rest of the day, where ESPN already dominates the market.

2. LSU 7.623 million

Have to vote them out.

Wait, how much money will the conference lose?

Nevermind, cancel the vote.

If we went independent we would have a schedule like Notre Dame. That would suck big time. We would win a lot but do you really want Notre Dame's schedule? Not me.
