Timmy,
You know how we talked about being careful with strangers because you just dont know if someone is bad, especially if they look nice just looking at their clothes and stuff?
Well, Oklahoma is like that. You see, their record makes some people think “hey! theyre good!”. But really, theyre not. You can tell that by the way they act when they’re around bad people. And Oklahoma has been hanging around with a lot of bad people this year, and doing a lot of bad things.

People are tired of seeing OU win the junior varsity championship then be embarrassed in the big boy tournament.
Winning the Big 12 isn't going to be enough for OU this year, and OOC the Nebraska struggle win is a net minus.

In many ways, this is a worse look for the sooners than normal. Every week, coming out and looking pedestrian instead of losing your mind against Kansas State or Iowa State and getting back on track.

Their strength of schedule is garbage. Their three hardest games(all the equivalent of playing South Carolina) are yet to come.

SOS is 108th and they havent beaten a ranked team
If they win out they are in and probably will. Rinse repeat

Because the people ranking them think the teams ahead of them are better.

To be honest, the "Nebraska struggle" is probably OU's best "win" considering Nebraska has played everyone close. So a victory over a 3-7 team is my team's "best" win.
Sometimes you have to just accept the fact that when you play poorly with others...you can't have nice things.

Strength of schedule and they don't blow out shitty teams (aka game control).
Thats it in a nutshell.
Yep, pretty much. As a fan, I can only hope we've been playing to our competition. In the coming weeks we will know if that's been the case

Their opponents are 31-51 on the season and they barely beat Kansas.

They haven't looked good beating awful competition.

I'm not denying or arguing with anyone that Oklahoma is ranked where they are because their strength of schedule and current performance has been shite, BUT... #10 Okie State and #13 Baylor would both fold South Carolina over like a lawn chair.

I think you can make an argument for them to be behind Michigan and MIchigan State but to be behind Cincinnati is just ridiculous
No it's not ridiculous at all. Their SOS is worse than Cincy's and Cincy actually has a quality win. You're arguing for them to be ahead of Cincy because of helmet logo basically.

Oklahoma 35, Kansas 23 when it should have been Kansas 30, Oklahoma 28.

They squeaked by Kansas thanks in part to the refs failing to blow the whistle when forward progress was stopped allowing Oklahoma to earn an undeserved first down allowing them to win the game. That alone should eliminate them from the top 10.

1. Schedule is backloaded, if they win out they are in.
2. Big 10 is seriously over rated.

South Carolina has multiple 5 Stars on their roster. The entire Big 12 outside of Texas and OU have 1 (Zach Evans with TCU). That's how crappy the Big 12 is.

The Pac and Big10 made an alliance that extends “informally” to their votes in the CFP committee. They keep Oklahoma down because Oklahoma is going to the SEC and that threatens the future existence of the PAC and Big 10.
The alliance has ranked the Big 10 way above their ability up and down the the top 25 to justify getting tOSU into the CFP. The Pac is so bad they can only vote up Oregon but Oregon lost badly to a terrible 3-5 Stanford team. In normal years that bad loss to a 3-5 team would eliminate Oregon. The win over tOSU was back when the tOSU QB was playing terrible. The committee is propping up Cincinatti since Cincinatti is preserving the status quo by moving to the Big 12. The alliance wants to preserve the status quo and not let the SEC with Oklahoma, change the landscape of CFP. The committee is trying to make Cincinnattee a P5 team even though they play a G6 schedule and almost lost at home to Tulsa last week.
The BCS has Oklahoma in the CFP right now and Oregon much lower. All the other polls and computer rankings have Oklahoma in the top 4. This “questionable” voting on the committee will accelerate the move to an expanded playoff. It is clear that the committee is not legit.
